For many years, the Nation of Israel has been embroiled in conflict, with the most recent event occurring with hundreds of drones and missiles being shot by Iranian forces into Israeli territory. On today’s edition of Family Talk, co-hosts Gary Bauer and the Hon. Michele Bachmann discuss the latest development in Israel, and what the future could hold. The Bible is clear, we are to stand in support of Jerusalem. Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” Let us join together in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem!
About Today's Guest: The Hon. Michele Bachmann
The Hon. Michele Bachmann served as a member of the U.S Congress, representing Minnesota’s 6th district as a Republican from 2007 until 2015. She also ran for President of the United States as a Republican in 2012. Michele is the first and only Republican woman to win a presidential primary contest. She currently serves as dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University. Ms. Bachmann is also a member of the board of directors for the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute. In addition, she serves as co-chair of the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast. Known for leading Congressional opposition to Obamacare, Michele is a former federal tax lawyer who started a mental health business with her husband, Marcus, to whom she has been married for over forty years. They have raised five biological children and twenty-three foster children, and are the grandparents of seven.

It is a great misunderstanding to say that Genesis 12:3 is about blessing the modern state of Is ra el. What does the verse say? "I will bless those who bless you, I will curse anyone who treats you with contempt, and all the nations on earth will be blessed through you." First, God was speaking directly to Abraham, as Is ra el had not even been formed yet. Second, the most important part of that verse is the second part "and all the nations on earth will be blessed through you." This is repeated in Galatians 3:8 "Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you." Then we see in Genesis 22:18 & 26:4 about the blessing of all the nations through the "seed of Abraham". Who is the "seed" it's referring to? Galatians 3:16 "Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his SEED. He does not say “and to seeds,” as though referring to many, but referring to one, and to your SEED, who is Christ." It is critical to understand that the modern state of Is ra el is NOT the Biblical nation, which was destroyed in 70 AD in judgment for rejecting Christ! Do not conflate the two, for to do so is to actually support those of whom God Himself has said, "But every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming; even now it is already in the world" and "Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." Even if you do think they are the same as the old covenant, Biblical people, does that mean everything they do is right and good? May the Lord open your understanding!

It's such a shame how the Bible is being distorted to support an ungodly war and a group of people who do not know or care to know the Lord Jesus Christ. They are not God's chosen people. Only believers in Jesus are God's chosen people as the new testament tells us.

@@i.f7032 Originally, yes. But the promise of land was conditioned on their obedience to God's laws. If they would obey, they would be blessed, if not, they would be cursed and removed from the land. This happened twice in the old covenant era (before Christ came) and the final time in the new covenant era (from the time of Christ onward) in 70 AD for their rejection of Christ the Messiah (other than the believing remnant). This ended the old covenant and that nation. The modern state is not the Biblical nation, and they have no covenant with God (through Jesus Christ), therefore no God-given right to be in the land. We can and should pray for their salvation.

@@ReformedNotRestless63 you are right that the covenant of Moses was conditionally if they will keep the law of Moses then the will abide in the land,and if they will not obey the law of Moses God will expell them from the land.but there is one problem,the promessing of the land is unconditionally through the covenant with Abraham in genesis ,and God said that he gave the land -forever-to his seeds,the land of Canaan.

@@i.f7032 The Abrahamic covenant was primarily about Jesus Christ the "SEED" who would come to bless all the nations with salvation. It was never meant to be an arrangement of perpetual land ownership. The true children of Abraham are those who have faith in Jesus Christ as Abraham did - Galatians 3:6-9, 26-29. True "J e w s" are those in Romans 2:29. The land promise was always conditioned on obedience to God's laws. The Israelis do not keep any of God's laws and certainly do not believe in Jesus Christ. They are disqualified from any of the old covenant land promises or blessings. Please learn the difference between the old and new covenants.

New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the first three questions below? Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant.
