Ever try using spoons? Here in Northeast PA, the creek trout seem to love them! I had my best season ever last year throwing some spoons. Gold, copper, or silver, depending on the weather and water clarity. A great spoon is the nickel/ gold and nickel/ copper "Thomas E.P." spoon. I had my limit of trout in about 15 mins and nothing shorter than 14 inches!

That's gold, small creek big fish 🐠. Right in people's backyards. I grew up in the country with a small creek at the bottom of our property and it to had big trout in it. I was always amazed at the size of the trout in small waterholes. Great video, thank again...

I wish NY had the same game protections that other states have. Here, the cops would be called in 5 seconds and you'd be escorted out of the neighborhood for having a dangerous sharp hook XD

So Fun! I had a friend who could catch a fish in a mud puddle, and my favorite trip with him was fishing a similar small stream using fly line, very small weight, single hook and a worm. He'd sneak up on a hole (I mean, hands and knees, cast no shadow, no noise), roll that worm upstream and let it float into the hole, then Bam! 14-16" brookies over and over just moving from hole to hole... soooo Fun! Thank you for catch and release too... leaves some fun for the next person. I might harvest one for dinner but I like to release them when I can.

Great but it will be nice to modify your lure by replacing the triple hook with a big eye single hook! In that way the rate of survival for the trout is higher! Nice video

Watch on 2 devices because I can only leave comments on this one. At least the commercials play on both. I am a human being and not a "bot". I watch because I enjoy Fish Hawk's channel so play nice, KZbin! You show twice as many ads (so long as each is less than 5 minutes). No cause to consequence anyone due to this. This device is only 1080P. The other one is 4K. This is exactly why.

Wow. How many fish you caught in one day??!! Here in Germany there’s so much fishing pressure they know the entire lures in existence and are extremely careful! I’m usually happy to catch one fish a day often nothing! Even the bass are here knowing what’s going on and hard to catch with artificial lures.

6 - 8 pound fluorocarbon will do just fine you could even go with 4 if youd like but id suggest 6. Definitely use fluorocarbon line though it gives you the best chance at catching the most fish because its much harder for the fish to see and it sinks unlike mono.
