Ah well. I'm one of those lurkers who came for the 125 content. So I guess that's it for me, as none of the other bikes that remain interest me. The 125 is the only one I have, and it's the only one I need. A final observation: I think the 125 is a bike for those people who truly need something that will take them out into the woods, into nature. Your content, on the whole, does not really reflect that. You're more a city guy, it seems, so I guess it stands to reason you're left with sleek, pretty city bikes. The SuperCub may perhaps be vaguely capable on gravel and dirt, but its styling makes it out of place there. In conclusion, I very much appreciate your style. You're obviously a fun guy with a lot of positivity, and that's great to find on KZbin. I might peek in every once in a while. 😉

I have a Honda trail 125 and understand you completely. The super cub is a bit faster, it can’t be used on the interstate, but it is a little faster for highway. I got the trail 125 for two reasons. It was more available and more capable off-road. Turns out I really have few opportunities to ride the 125 off-road. I should have gone with the super cub it would have been capable enough for my actual usage. I do still love the bike, but really liked the look of the super club.

Interesting video. I too have a Super Cub and a Trail 125. Like you, I've been cooling off on the Trail and have been toying with getting rid of it to thin the heard (Currently have 8 bikes) Not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger yet, I'll watch you for signs of seller's remorse and regroup later. Part of my issue is that it just isn't worth that much used. I could maybe get $3,500 for it but couldn't replace the coolness it packs for the same money anywhere else. We'll see. I Wish you the best with the Scrambler. I too love Triumph. (I have a T120 and a T100 and only wish I had 8 asses to ride them all at the same time! Keep up the Vids!

It has only been a few days, but so far, no remorse at all besides watching my subscriber count suffer a lot, haha. I plan to put knobbies on the Super Cub. That should be perfect for me and my uses. The extra free space in the carport has already been nice, though. Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support.

So I watched this video twice cause I’m kinda in the same boat…. When I started my channel I worked on Subarus, Harleys, etc. it was a hodge podge…. I decided to make a new one JUST for the Cub, but now I’m having “mission” creep and I’m finding myself acquiring more Honda scooters and bikes (and planning videos) while not staying true to the Cub. Part of that was trying to buy a Cub Trail, which I still want. I still want to collect small bikes but I think keeping things de-cluttered, not just on YT, but in life. The trail is definitely more utilitarian, but the Cub has SOUL :) I wish you success and a peaceful mind in the future. Hope you hit 100k subs.

I think it's natural for this to happen. Needs change, interests change, or we simply try to change to keep things interesting and relevant. I would say to make whatever videos are going to bring you the most joy personally. Thanks for watching and the kind words. I really appreciate the support.

@@Dailycozwerks i like your other bikes too and your car as well and the new one is super cool as well... if i could handle something bigger id have other options but even with its light weight its a lot for me personally. i am possibly considering a 3 wheeler as i saw a pretty cool one at the bike meet but even then im still keepin the trail :) there were a heavy following of ppl there with groms so im even considering one of those as well lol we'll see im still dumpin $$$ into this thing till im done so ty again

As an avaid cyclist who loves sightseeing at 15-40mph(going down hills) over an 85 mile bike ride, effortlessly crusing at 35 mph or even doing 20mph going up hill aounds amazing. I like the option to go exploring but realistically with a wife, job, and kids it's really hard to make time and go out of my way to do something like that. I just want to cruise around back roads for as cheap as possible. After years of talking about it, I'm getting one in the spring. I can strongly relate to your thought processes and reasoning with decision making. Having said that, you may have sold me on the Cub. As an added point for the Cub, you see WAY more cubs for sale that trails and for less. I've seen as low as $2,500 for a 2021. You make quality videos. I'll stick around. Also been subscribed to the TH newsletter since 2014 and started listening to the Minimalist podcast in 2018 and binged them.

Thanks for watching. I really appreciate the support. I think the Cub will definitely serve you well. It's a really great back to basics approach to transportation and you definitely can't beat the price.

When I bought my Trail, I had the intent of never selling it. I still don't but I've only had it a year. The new Wolf 125 from CSC (Zongshen) may be a better entry for that sort of bike for most when it comes out later this year. A bike like this shouldn't cost as much as I paid (almost $6k). I said I'd never sell a bike again but I strongly considered selling my Ural last year. It takes up a lot of space and it gets the least usage of my bikes. My wife talked me out of it. Now we're going to see how my dog likes riding in the sidecar.

I can relate to wanting to have a bike you never sell. That was my intention, too, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I would be in a better position mentally with fewer things.
@baldrider5 ай бұрын
@@Dailycozwerks A lot of it comes from regretting every bike I sell. However, garage and budget space are both real issues. There are only so many hours in the day. Sometimes I think about getting a ‘spare’ bike for friends to ride if they come to town but then I remember that isn’t likely. I need to get into that lesser mindset

I decided on getting the trail first only for the fact it fits me a little better (as well as a mini moto can😂) since I’m 6’2”. Hey man I’m here to rock with you no matter what, glad I found your channel! I love triumph, I’m actually considering selling my shovelhead (to a family member who has to sell it back to me if they ever want to sell it). Ideally if I could only have 3 bikes rn it would be my Dyna, the trail and a triumph scrambler 1200X down the line.

Your crazy! Me too. I do not own a Super Cub, but I wish I did! I do own a Dyna. But I love the looks of the Super Cub. My wife is from Vietnam, and you see MILLIONS of Super Cubs out there! New ones, old ones, I love them all. Why haven't I popped for a new Super Cub yet? Stupidest reason of all: vanity. Your riding your Cub, enjoying life, when a pack of Harley's fly up to you. Not a happy feeling! Been there, done that, with a sport bike instead. A biker chick passenger tried to kick me off my bike. Eight of them. I got away untouched. So did they! Because I was carrying. So now the fear is still there. I ride the Dyna. Wave to everybody! Because I'm not a bike snob. But that Super Cub......
