@@davidbenson735 yes it's great. We are lucky. Grizedale forest has loads of gravel roads with great views. There are also great sections around Hawkshead, Ambleside, Claife, East of Lake Windermere.

What a great insight into touring, do you have a daily budget, or just spend whenever you want? Nic little tent, doesn't look like there's much room??

Thanks 👍🏻 No daily budget really, I tend to get a Co-op meal deal for lunch if available, then I can stop to eat wherever I fancy. Otherwise, if I see a nice cafe I stop there for lunch. The dehydrated meals are great for the evening, especially if there are no pubs near the campsite. Also, being a complete meal and lightweight I don't have to carry loads of ingredients. For camping, I aim for max £15 per night, or occasionally I will do wild camp for free 😀 Yes, the tent is small but it's all the room you need for sleeping in. The advantage with this is it's lightweight.

Most train companies insist that you book your bike on for the journey. There are limited spaces usually. Not a great system, but a means to an end if you want to travel further afield if time is limited. Thanks for watching.
