This has to be the best bikepacking/touring videos I`ve ever watched. No stupid "epic" music, just enjoyable commentary and the sound of dirt under nobby tires, mixed with wind and nature. Truly a pleasure to watch, thanks so much for sharing this wonderful trip!

You know you have made something great when your viewer first watch all the episodes individually and later in the same day watch the movie. I have to admit that I liked the individual episodes best as the cutting in this one was a bit on the heavy side. You have a great sense of humour. Keep up the great work.

I'm a touring bike guy, but I was drawn in to your vid because you're an old dude (like me) and I have been immensely rewarded. Love your dry sense of humour, brevity, perseverance and of course, visuals. Interesting observation: I've watched you get as far as Steamboat without ever eating a piece of fruit or a vegetable. Lol! It's all greasy American junk food. I'll assume you died later on in this trip, but I'll keep watching, nonetheless! :-) (Seriously, thanks for a hugely entertaining trip.)

Most excellent GDMBR video. Very well edited and narrated by you. I've been following the GDMBR rides and race since 2008. I've watched many KZbin videos on this subject and I would rate this among the 5 best ever made. Great work Mat, I'll watch it again. You captured the spirit of the ride by not trying to set a world land speed record for fastest time.

Great addition to the series. 2000 views in one day is a testament to the popularity of your videos. I've watched literally dozens of GDMBR videos anticipating my own this summer. Yours is by far the best.

You mentioned that you needed to give back, for all that gave to you. Besides the purchasing at exorbitant prices, I believe you gave back to your fellow finishers throughout those last days. They remember you, for years to come. You also, gave US this incredible accounting of your adventure, which will inspire others to go out and do the Great Divide, by 🚲. ❤

I am not quite to the end yet, and excuse my language, but this is fucking exceptional. I loved the original series, and it was amazing to follow along as you were still on the trail, but the pacing of this is just perfect, I have been watching for over 2 hours and it has flown by, I haven't been bored or felt the need to skip any of it, yet it isn't rushed, it is the full story of this amazing adventure. It is quite simply an incredible bit of work by both of you, Mat for getting this footage and telling the story so well, with humour and honesty, and Ross for putting it together in a way which gets everything out of it. It seems unlikely, but in the event someone reads this comment before committing to watch the whole video, then do not hesitate! Watch and enjoy.

Wow that is high praise indeed. We spent a lot of time considering if it was too long, we didn't want people to be put off by that.
