A Bit Disappointing. SoundPEATS T2 Noise Cancelling True Wireless

I've been using there Earbuds for 2 weeks now and my honest opinion when comparing to my Sennheiser Momentum, Soundpeats Truengine 3se, Taotronics Soundliberty 79. I can't believe how good the Soundpeats T2s are when it comes to the ACN feature and the call quality. The T2 beats all of the above and so far, I have not experienced any hissing or unwanted noises when it's in the ANC mode. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones that didn't receive one of their faulty Earbuds. Honestly though, this is my 3rd Soundpeats. Earbuds and I've never experienced any problems with any so far re QC. The 3se probably sounds a little bit better but not that noticeable. The Sennheiser Momentum when it comes to sound quality is again a bit better than both as expected for the price of over $300. Overall experience from Soundpeats T2 after 2 weeks, I really can't believe they were able to produce a pair of premium Earbuds for a mere $60. I would even buy these if soundpeats were to sell them for $150.

I agree with you totally. These are the best soundpeats earbuds ever. They are so great. I was concerned that they didn't have wingtips...so glad they don't. They fit so perfectly. The sound is amazing and the ANC is ridiculously good for the price...Such a crazy bargain. Great job Soundpeats.

I just recieved this day my Soundpeats T2. I love the ANC, paas thru, the long battery life even with ANC on, able to contril volume without touching my phone, the small case with lots of juice and its water protection.

The 'reserved' sound signature is what makes these great. You can throw any genre of music and not worry about boomy bass or harsh treble. I had a fluttering noise when ANC was on so returned my unit. T2s do look better imo than earfuns. Earfuns are a solid pick overall. I think you will like tozo nc2 in this case. It has that bass and treble you like. My unit was faulty but I found the lid on the case closed too easily which made it annoying when trying to take out/put in the buds. It did my head in but I might reorder these. Maybe EQ it to tone down treble slightly. I'm using the boltunes elite now. But I have to eq it to push the high ends. I personally don't like EQing buds. I want stock sound quality to sound the way I like. But it's a compromise I am now learning to make with tws units due to convenience they offer over wired. Great to get your thoughts on the T2 as now I can use your opinions as a reference point for all future reviews of yours 👍

Picked up my T2 the other day and you're review is spot on! I prefer the H1 for its subwoofer capability and much clearer treble, but if you wear them you get used to the difference and they are very good. You can really tell the difference in bass with Lil Nas X and Industry Baby. Subwoofer versus just boom. Echoes more clear too on H1, but only just. ANC is really good with obviously the lows but also the mids. Just hear the tinkling! Combined with Soundcore Q30 and the double ANC is unbelievably good for mowing! Wind noise is very noticeable in even a light breeze and that ANC hiss is too with no music. Ok with though. The lightweight T2 is very comfortable. I have never found silicone tips to work for my ears, but for some reason the T2 included tips do. Medium in right ear and large in left. Perfect fit. In fact, I fitted the other two from the T2 box on my H1 and now that fits even better than my usual foam tips! Still prefer my H1 when specifically listening, but the T2 is good for background listening in noisier situations. H1, as-is, with ANC would be awesome. My only gripe with the H1 is that the left volume is slightly lower than the right. Mono sound is centered at my right tear duct! T2 is dead center. Swapped buds over and it moves to the left. Nothing major, but noticeable for me. What's expected from SoundPEATS' product release this week? Your thoughts.

Fixed the H1 offset volume! I had to reset them as the left bud stopped pairing. That fixed the balance! 👍👍

Just got mine and love them. They remind me of movie theater sound. Big, open, everything clear from deepest sub bass to mids to highs. No treble peakiness around 3-6k so many imo mistake as 'clarity'.

Personally, the tradeoff of sound quality for a pretty good ANC is definitely good, especially for the price. Definitely, the best buds if you wait for a discount on amazon. What I found from soundpeats buds is that usually there is a static noise even in non-ANC models, also shouldn't expect the same lifespan as more expensive brands. But no better brand if you just need some buds for travel where you don't wanna bring anything too expensive around with you.

Hi, im a machinist by trade, i have these soundpeats t2 earbuds at my work which i use as ear protection and for my music/podcasts. My problem is with with the equipment i use, such as an air gun (compressed air), angle grinder and drilling with carbide tools which squeal, the anc cannot handle these 3 noises in particular very well. With the air gun it sounds like your in the middle of a storm, with the grinder etc it crackles and has some kind of feedback. Are you able to do a review on which earbuds anc can handle these type of noises, this would be great for tradespeople. There is no review on youtube currently talking about these issues. Playing with my T2 and I found that with ANC on during a phone call it pickup surround noise, ask the seller and they suggested not to use ANC for phone call, I always thought ANC is for phone call, am I wrong? No problem with AND on to play music.

Wow I got very different sound impressions. I got both 3SE and T2. My T2 pair is extra bassy and mids are definitely congested by mid bass bleed. I had to EQ the earbuds to boost mids to counter that warmth and that boomy bass. Punch is light for sure, but there is plenty of bass. Oh, and I also got distortion when ANC was enabled and tracks got busy around 85% volume.

I like the cycling through when you first take them out. I like to think of my case as a reset, and if I need a mode I can switch. I say this, because I may be expecting to hit 10 hours of use, and then I realize I've had transparency mode out straight of the case and now my buds are dead. And with no "official" quick charge feature, it's better this way. (I say official, because they've fully died on me before and were back to 100% within 15-30 minutes after charging) I'm also a basshead, and I like the approach they took on these. With a long battery life and all day use, paired with the light design, it's the least fatiguing experience from any earbuds I've owned. With boomy bass for 10 hours I would have a headache. Plus, like we all know, they have plenty of options for the bass lovers.

Nice review! I just got mine like an hour ago, I like the transparency mode, it's actually what I really need, the anc is a bit lacking but I doubt I'd use it much. Hmm distortion, I don't think my pair is broken, thankfully. The max volume is really high for me though, that's not a complaint of course. Compared to my sonic it does have lower bass unfortunately, well I will mainly use this when I go out and need to have awareness to my surroundings and talk with friends without taking it off.

Sometimes that will happen and holding down the touch surface of that earbud can turn it on. If that doesn’t work Check the manual and try a factory reset, that should work.

Thanks for the review. The Earfun Free Pro have definitely set the bar at that price point and higher. If you are informed, why would anyone spend the same money for anything less than the Earfun? Also, is voice assistant really a thing? I never use it and hate that it's a must have for most manufacturers... at the expense of volume controls? When wearing earbuds I do not want to pull my phone out for any reason.

Thanks for the review. I bought the T2 and am very satisfied. But… I lost the recharging case just after a few days of usage. It is not available without the buds unfortunately. As you have tested a few other Soundpeats earbuds: is the case of a cheaper soundpeats earbud compatible? For example the Soundpeats Sonic looks similar and it is on sale in German Amazone atm. My phone has a built in equalizer and supports Dolby Atmos so I can adjust the frequency. I want to buy Galaxy Buds Pro because of your great review about the sound but the latency on non-samsung affected my decision as I play games. I want to replace my wired IEMs but this T2 will suffice for now. Thank you for always giving a detailed review

I have bought and returned the sonics and the T2's. For some reason they lose connection if I cover the buds or my phone (Pixel 3XL) and I can only go about 10 feet away before I get static. I'm using my older 3 se buds but they also have the same issues as well as others. I get static even when my phone is in my pocket almost losing connection. All 3 buds sound great when the connection is stable. They all have different issues. I'm definitely disappointed so far with the connection issues. You also might not be getting a proper seal tbh. Try different ear tips since it's a bigger bud. Try foamies and dual tips to see if the seal helps with the sound.

Yeah I got these now. I can't hear any distortion after about a full day of listening. They are a comfy pair of headphones. The case is real nice aswell got a good bit of weight to it. Passthrough is crazy good for me aswell. The ANC is only really good above 80 percent. But overall very good sound coming from them. Bargains !!

@@pickyaudio your review was spot on. good all rounder, nothing outlandish with the audio. a bit of a tweak in the spotify equaliser to make mid's come up more and does wonders for the T2's.

Re: mono mode, can anybody confirm if you can set both buds to mono out of the case? My goal would be to share an earbud with someone to watch a movie or something, and we can each hear the entire audio in our earbud.

The Sonic's are just not loud enough I have several Soundpeats earbuds and it's the only one that has this problem.🤔

The strange thing is, for my ears the ANC, bass and loudness is much better than Earfun Air 3 pro and Liberty 4 NC... Even the battery is still much better than these, after more than 2 years of daily use...!! 🤔

The Soundpeats are better than my Sennheiser Momentum which cost me $350 in terms of the ANC functionality. The sound is a bit less as expected but not by much. The T2s are my everyday buds now
