Hello, I was interested in that speaker today, but I have noticed and read about those problems with the treble that is too present, squeaky, unusable for me like that. But I doubt if this has been effectively solved. I've read that the updates have improved this, but I don't know to what extent, I don't know if you can have a warm and moderately well-balanced sound. As well as if they solved problems with the radiators heating up, or negative comments about the short battery life. For 100 euros I can have it, I doubt with the Tribit Stormblast for 150, deeper but with its problems too. Greetings and thanks!!

Which speakers would u suggest between all of the Various Sound Core Speakers like: Sound Core Anker Rave Party Cast, Sound Core Anker Rave Neo 2, Sound Core Anker Rave Party 2, Sound Core Trance, Sound Core Rave, The Sound Core Motion Boom Plus and The Tribit Storm Box Blast? I sense you know your speakers! Between all of Them: When dealing with loudness, clarity, highs, mids, lows, deep bass, punchy bass, db, watts, battery life, etc.... Which out of all of them would you say has the most going for it as a speaker? And if you can name any other, that transcends, any of these; in those kind of price ranges- then I would like to hear your opinion. P.S.Any info would be greatly Appreciated!!!

I bought mine yesterday, and noticed, the soundcore signature default eq is different than what you show at the time of this video, so maybe they're listening. I was blown away by it, but yeah, noticed something a bit too shrill about the sound. I thought it was the bass which is omnipresent on this device. If you're into bass, this unit is amazing, but it also turns down nicely as well, but after your video, I agree, the trebles were too high. I used your eq, and it sounds awesome now.
@boing_bln2 жыл бұрын
Totally agreed, You're one of the few who mentions the harsh treble. It's hard to use it as a indoor speaker for relax music listening. Even if you decrease the treble in the app, it's not a clean sound. I guess, the most people are focussed on the loudness and the deep bass. The JBL Extreme 3 is not loud and bassy as the Motion Plus, but better balanced and more musical. The Motion Boom Plus is excellent for partys and outdoor performance. I also was unhappy with the Motion Boom. Mids and Highs weren't clean. I think, this the Anker Soundsignature.

From the various Original Motion Boom reviews and comparisons out there to date- especially factoring in price, overall sound quality, Portability...etc- the Motion Boom still shines through (there seems to be some magic in those full range drivers). I feel like the one major thing that would help make the Motion Boom a $100 GOAT, would be to add 1 tweeter in the center of the speaker where the Anker logo is because there is a huge empty space there, right between the titanium drivers. Also, a 3.5mm jack would be nice too.

I have 70KHz home speakers (Sony SS-B4ED towers). When set up correctly they do make a difference to the soundstage of the room. Most people may not be able to hear anything above 20KHz but if the audio is recorded correctly with the full range then those higher frequencies can make a difference. I guess it all depends on each persons hearing as I can actually hear 21KHz still and I'm 41 (up to around 25KHz I can't hear but my god does it give me a headache). I've compared Hi-RES 96/24 audio to normal CD audio and I can hear the difference a mile off.
@MrAlex-lk8zn2 жыл бұрын
@@AndyMitchellUK26 😯! That’s so cool. Does the high frequency make a difference in the soundstage?
@AndyMitchellUK262 жыл бұрын
@@MrAlex-lk8zn It depends on the recording/remastering. Some older music not so much as there is only so much detail that can be pulled from the original masters. I have some newer content and even some DTS 96/24 5.1 audio that is night and day from a standard CD recording. I also have a handful of SACDs in stereo that are so much better overall. I guess part of it is the higher bitrate but there is definitely a difference that you can "feel". A lot of people don't realise that music isn't just about what you can hear. The sounds may not be there but the air is still being moved across the frequency range and when set up correctly with good equipment and good source material some people (that are lucky to be able to perceive the differences like myself) can definitely tell the difference. I have done blind tests with 96/24 audio that I have down sampled to standard CD 44.1/16 and I can tell the difference every time.

This video is painfully harsh - I've had this speaker just over 2 weeks now and have had 0 issues, for the price/quality ratio. It's a bargain (anker usually do deals on their website - got mine for £100)
@tdcattech Жыл бұрын
I agree. This speaker was improved through a number of firmware updates. Basically, Anker messed up the release version but it's so much better now.
@wadec67992 жыл бұрын
With some eqadjustments this things sounds better than every bt speaker I've owned. Especially for rock music from 50s 60s 70s. It has thump bit with those adjustments beautiful mids amd Hugh's. Prior bt speakers were Sony xb43 bose revolve+ jbl extreme 3 Harmon studio 4 and studio 7 Aiwa exos 3 and every w king speaker made. To say this thing sounds rough is goofy as help especially when considering the price of other speakers that don't even touch this for sound. Needless to say I think only thing touching this for sound will be the tribit stormbox blast

@@tdcattech appreciate that man ima check it out. Hey any chance you've gotten your hands on the tribit stormbox blast? Seen couple videos now on it and not sure what the heck to do. @tdcattech i know what u mean if u say harsh BUT ! .... Its an outdoor speaker a typical boombox. But its amazing what they have done. Standard settings are bullshit but if u do u own eq its great. Because outside u lose bass and treable and off axis most speaker lose all of their sound but the plus wins here if never hear such a great speaker off axis. Amazing Bass and treable. So for Home listening most of the time too heavy or u listening under 40 % vol. Then great. So for me best boombox of all time speacialy if u see the price!

Interesting viewpoint. This type of EQ may well work better outdoors and become more 'normalised' due to dulling etc. I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to test that but I'm sure going to try 👍🏻

Some people have reported that Anker support say they're working on a firmware upgrade that might resolve this problem. For the moment, I'm still on 0.29 and nothing has materialised yet. Then again, as usual, KZbin is full of endless positive reviews so there are plenty of people who are going to buy this and probably won't even notice! I'm going to wait until the fix for another week and, if it's not forthcoming I have until 30th June to return.

@@tdcattech I’m going to do the exact same I have until the 5th of July , your eq has helped and thank you, I have 2 motion booms and they sound beautiful in TWS maybe not the loudest …. But certainly easier on the ear, as soon as I crank up the volume to 50% maybe less on the boom plus something goes Pete thong and screeches in my ears like an unruly child 🤣

So I kept it playing for 40ish hours. It helped with the harsh sounding tweeters, but honestly not as much as I hoped it would I,ll be returned it. For outdoor use it sounds amazing I do have to say but I would like a speaker with a little more play. Maybe the tribit stormbox blast? It looks promising.

(ALWAYS DROP DA BASS) lol. Anyway Anker is a terrible brand that takes advantage of the common folk. How you may ask, well for one, they run Kickstarters and raise an insane amount of money for “Hot Garbage“ that still takes time to deliver and is not of quality for the $Price$, and they don’t even need to use a kickstarter!! There already an established brand name people recognize!!, so it takes away from the true maker’s/developer’s out there who don’t just slap a sticker on OEM Alliexpress junk with 100X markup due to huge pallet orders and commercial’s “like “ this. Shame on you Anker… Shame.

I do like a lot of their stuff and most of it seems well made and reasonably priced. This, not so much. I would expect much, much better from a close to £200 speaker.

I agree. They market the drivers as ‘titanium’. In reality they are just cheap plastic. Also 30 watts of power would not be enough to power a speaker made with a metal cone

I have found that with the right settings on the eq, you can get very balanced sound, base and treble very well formed. My phone music app also has an eq setting which can help as well. Overall is incredible for the price. I have an onyx studio that's very good, and at $385 Cdn...twice the cost, but yes it's very good. The onyx isn't good to take camping or kyaking tho... I'm very happy with this thing 100%
