For real. Those memes were 🔥. And many of the pages I got them from have since been banned. So they will be difficult to replace

Leatherwork, like everything else, takes time, patience, and practice. You're in pretty good sted. Congrats to Mr. Axle

As one of those leather workers you were talking about. I would suggest skiving the end of the piece that folds down to be the belt loop. If it tapers down to a thin edge you don't have to worry about the guard catching on it when the knife is drawn.

Been doing leather work since I was a young teenager. I'm 65 now. Nothing wrong with what you're doing. Things like color and finish are personal choice. I didn't see any of your leather work video. Soo...if it's thick don't try punching just drill the holes. Sand the rough edges for folded or stacked leather. Experiment with shoe and boot finishing/ care products. Don't be afraid of picking up a swivel knife and doing some leather carving. It's really easy. You might already be doing all that. Like I said, I haven't seen your leather video. I believe we have a common friend. Red from the Blacksmith club that meets at Ft Mitchell Alabama. I'm also a Blacksmith and woodcarver who is always willing to help anyone I can. I'm on Facebook so just pm me if I can help in anyway. I could have you carving wood spirits in walking sticks in about 15 minutes. I'm also a vet. Army and Air Force.

Like the sheath! The patterning looks neatly done and it should be sturdy enough for the coming century. ;) As a laymanskilled leathercrafter I would probably have gone for something a bit more shaped around the blade which leaves less seams (only along the back) and used a 2 mm leather tops, reinforced at the edge with something thin and cutresistant. As for me I would also have gone for a natural skin, a brown or a deep red coloring of the leather to better match the handle but, it could not take the beating your can. ^^ If you like to pick up some skills on sheats or just a fun project, I can recommend making a simple version of the seax sheats. No seams and only small pins. (Small 1.2 mm brass nails are more than enough for pins and dirt cheap.)

Data is never really gone from a computer device. If you really want the files back or if its worth it, there are services that can recover the data.

FYI google will also do a picture backup. It’s cool because it isn’t connected to iCloud, so removing from iCloud will not remove from google

Maybe use MicroSD cards to store and move the video between devices (Assuming they have MicroSD slots, I know Apple are a bit sparse on ports and slots). Also unless you've got crazy good internet writing to a MicroSD card should be faster than uploading to the cloud. Sucks to lose quality memes but atleast you didn't lose family photos like my mother did when Google helpfully uploaded them to the cloud, corrupted them and then deleted them from the device. Can't trust big tech to take care of our shit.
