@@pretty.person.bedroom post is so rarely needed now. Phones are faster and better than letters for text and if you need to give someone something, you can just put their address in when you order it online. Post is rare these days

I downloaded the season 9 map on bedrock and was saddened to see all you hard armor stand work was lost, but i understand sacrifices had to be made, but i love the world itself and really opened my eyes as to the Human element to you and the other hermits builds and mega structures. Keep up the great work both you and all the others, its well appreciated.

@Van-dq4sw yeah it is like that, but on the upside I do get to see what the original items were for the custom textures, like the raw chicken for scar's buttercups, and the decked out placeholders, it actually gave me quite a good laugh. I'm actually looking forward on "restoring" some of the partially thematically destroyed structures like decked out and the Perimeter to how they would have looked like before it fell into ruins, but a part of me feels horrible for even touching these works of art, even though I know I can make as many downloads as I want, I still feel kinda guilty for some reason. But here I go rambling again 😅

@ashtondoublet8334 Hey, one of the best compliments you can give to a wprk of art is a desire to engage with it, especially a story. If the Perimeter's history draws you in to want to restore it and see what it could have been before, that means that Doc made a story that you want to know more about; and the same with Decked Out. The point of a world download is to let you live in the world and engage with it. It's a form of joy.

armor stand is used through a mod, and java and bedrock have different launcher things so anything to do with a mod can't be put into bedrock without entirely re-building

Ha yeah the location of the stamp probably goes over the head of most people these days due to just not mailing letters anymore. Sort of like when I asked my kids if they knew what a Transistor Radio was. One said "sort of?"

LOL yes. That's a bit of a trick question, though, because you don't just need to know what a transistor radio is (that is, a modern radio made with transistors), but enough history to know that radios used to be made with vacuum tubes/crystals/dubious soldering in your garage. ;) You can actually still get kits to assemble vacuum tube radios with dubious power supplies. It's great. :)

The only thing confusing me is Cleo's permit comment. Permits are for items, not services so she can "sell" her services to anyone she chooses. Thats the same loophole False is using and the Post Office probably could do the same. Avoid the DOP at all cost!

The bridge needs a support beam near the tower or needs to be moved a little up or to the tower, otherwise it would collapse! Else everything is looking fine!

@@karactr8361 Yeah, that's been confusing me with the services as well. It sounded like the rules for the permits are that others can't sell things that there IS an active permit for... nothing about needing a permit if one doesn't yet exist.

My first thought when I saw that they had used hoppers instead of a hopper minecart was "Tango is going to have a stroke if he finds out about this."

@@discochaotica Hoppers are fine for that kind of area, especially since they use Lithium on Hermitcraft.

@@TheRealWormbo Even with Lithium, there's a balance to it. Tango has mentioned that if you're using more than a certain number of hoppers (20, I believe?) then it's more efficient to use a minecart.

@@discochaotica Yes, but people constantly overestimate hopper lag. Each of those three villagers produces a multiple of the lag the entirety of the redstone machinery (including the open hoppers) in that farm causes.

Ha, you potatoed your own Redstone! But with a fence. I'm amazed that there are apparently people who have never sent or received physical mail! Stamps go in the top-right corner! Ha, the tower. Getting flashbacks from Secret Life. Oooooooh, nice bubbly cauldron of Redstone, can't wait for Tango to show us why it's there. I think the Crimson Stem would look cool if you dangled it down from the edges of the roofs, with maybe some Crimson Vines coming down from them. Then it looks like the magic is overflowing off the buildings.

Looks great Cleo! I think you could play with shadows more on that lighter part of the build. The shading was so subtle at the end of the video. Maybe that's what you want and details will make it less flat. Or maybe I'm just used to the crazy shading choices that BDubs uses...

this reminds me how years ago I built a couple wizard towers (once in a single player creative and once on a private multiplayer server) that both had a steep pointed curve roof. I had spent hours on the first one trying to figure out how to get the curve just right, but once I got it it was just so magical. If you want suggestions for magical interiors I recommend a maze of stacked bookshelves of varying heights including ones that seem to arch over the player (three high on each side with ones connecting the third), amethysts on the walls, vines and leaves on the walls and windows, some spore blossoms for particles, and flowers in vases, are a few things that I found look really nice. Wizards and clutter go hand in hand.

Errors like that happen Cleo, don't worry. That's why I don't use systems that rely on such filtration techniques anymore - someone shooting a rogue phantom and it later dropping a membrane into a system unnoticed can cause havok. Gotta love foibles. 😂🖤

The gradient on the lower roof at 14:11, as the video swings around to the front is phenomenal. I really thought that wasn't something that was achievable in Minecraft, but here we are! The transitions are so smooth. Magical Cleo!

I love watching the hermits use the mail system it looks so fun! Could I propose you commit some mail fraud. Send packages to hermits asking for a cup of sugar a couple prices of ice or a stack of dirt (random blocks) and sign a random other hermits name. Could be some fun clips of confusion

Hey Cleo, loving all the builds and interactions but one thing I love more is the building on camera and trial and error. Despite you being a zombie it makes it more human for me. 😂. I know some build do and may require creative first and/or litematic mods but I love watching the build process and seeing the creative outcome vs line by line printing. I've noticed you nd several hermits making an effort to do that more and it's great, spread the word.
