I think that Joe also would get it, as he liked the first game (proved by his medley), so clarifying wasn’t necessary. Also, as Deltarune doesn’t seem to take place after Undertale, if it’s even in the same reality, calling it a sequel and “Undertale 2” is incorrect anyway.
