I think Tickatus is single handedly the best card against highlander decks. You tilt them of the face of the earth and sometimes even hit those win cons

I've actually played a few games against someone doing similar velen mindblast things. But in a more combo focused miracle shell, running gadgetzan auctioneer, gilded gargoyle, radiant elemental, velen/maly and zerek's at the top. Not certain if nazmani was in it but it'd probably fit okay. At first I thought that was what this deck was when I just saw the title.

Tickatus would have done something if the opponent were to hit fatigue and go down from 21 to 20 and a double mind-blast would then be lethal... Yeah ok I see what you mean with “nothing”, it’s basically “in any other situation then a exact fatigue lethal he does nothing”

Missing cleric of the scales and Illucia. What are some good substitute cards to consider?

Cleric of Scales is only a Rare, so you may want to consider just crafting it (or opening some Galakrond's Awakening packs for it if there are a bunch of cards from there you want), but if you don't want to do that the closest substitutes would be Novice Apprentice, Renew and Firetree Witchdoctor. As for Illucia, there is no direct substitute but it can be replaced with anything that fits in the deck, be it one of the above cards, the dragon that makes 1-cost spells, Vulpera Scoundrel, or any cheap Thief Priest card.

Sorry, I am an idiot and mixed up Galakrond's Awakening and Decent of Dragons. Still, some Wild sets have so few good cards in them that it is simply better to craft anything you need from them than it is to actually buy packs from them with gold (once you have the guaranteed early Legendary), so it is worth noting that like all solo adventures Galakrond's Awakening is worth more dust per gold than average packs are if you just disenchant the whole thing. Also, there is a decent chance it will become craftable without owning it once it rotates to Wild, but since unlike all other solo expansions with cards it will not be completely leaving when it rotates (since it is the first one to rotate since Wild content became purchasable with gold and all the old adventures were re-released to the shop), this may not be the case.

@@alexstewart9592 Yea, I'm not convinced I should buy a whole adventure just for having one card. There's not many useful cards to use in the adventure anyways.. Gonna look into some low cost spell generation cards or maybe some cycle cards like bloodmage thalnos or more defensive cards like wild pyro or renew. Thanks anyways

Tickatus burned his tickatus which could’ve burned your velen which isn’t an auto lose for this deck but it puts you in a bad spot

But it's just as likely to push Tickatus to the top of the deck, which is just as likely to push Velen to the top of the deck. Until your deck is empty, it does nothing.

6/9 top warlock decks overall on Hearthpwn include Tickatus, 4/9 for wild. Renolock on the latest Tempostorm snapshot runs Tick as a staple. Roffle is wrong about the impact of the card. If you play a reactive warlock mirror and you don't have Tickatus, you lose almost guaranteed. Same with most reactive decks in wild. How can a player so focused on making "fun" off meta decks be so dismissive of Tickatus? Of course he won't show Tickatus milling his Yogg or Shudderwock on camera, but those moments make people want to stop playing.
