The anime is really doing Uryu justice and giving him huge shining moments he never had in the manga. When TYBW was announced, I never would’ve imagined that it would’ve improved over the source material by this much. Not only did they did show Squad 0 being defeated in a believable way unlike the manga, but they also gave Uryu one of the biggest feats in the series, by soloing a full powered Bankai Squad 0 member.

As an Adaptation I honestly think this is one of the best anime. Anime should be able to build off the manga and improve it by adding things and changing this (little things, not Tokyo Ghoul type changes)

@@pearchris to be fair, that’s literally all of the Quincies. They don’t just have a power granted by yhwach, it IS YWACH’S OWN POWER that they have. That means that they have the ability basically already maxed out, it’s just a matter of how they use it. Uryu got a jump in power because he has ywach’s ability, and since they’re connected to ywach, when he gets stronger, so do they.

The callback parallel to Aizen & Kisuke’s final conversation when he was getting sealed back in Ep 309 about the Soul King and what Ichibe tells Ichigo at the end of this episode is hauntingly & poetically phenomenal. ‬ ‪And here comes Yhwach who just decides to flip the script and chess board knocking the table out of the way to return the world saw it once was as one.‬ Now while A = Almighty, remember Uryu also has the same Schrift (Letter) of power that Yhwach does, so more on that later on the name of it when it’s revealed. What he did switching Senjumaru’s fabric threads onto her look like what Itachi did to Kurenai with his Tsukuyomi in Naruto, not to mention it’s a also callback to when he one shotted Mayuri and his bankai in Ep 44 back in the soul society arc.‬ Lastly Fun Fact: Ichibe’s Futen Taisatsuryō which translates to "Slaughterous Mausoleum of Halted Reincarnation” is what directly inspired Sakuna’s Malevolent shrine and it’s not even a Bankai which have generally inspired domain expansions. Bleach is something else… Next week is one for the history books as brought to you by the King of Get Backs.‬

Hey guys, hope you're doing all right That scene with senjumaru, she basically sealed the quincys fate (like the thread of fate, it is in the name of her bankai in kanji) you probably know that what happens in her bankai is what will happen to them, but, what about pernida? what connects him with black sand? you see, black sand in japanese is kuro tsuchi, and that's who he'll fight somethings get lost in translation, but it's fun once you get to know the word play also she attacks uryu with traumas lol, first the quincy cross (aschwallen), then hollows (his grandfather's death) and then trappes like one of mayuri's experiment anyway, great reaction

Yhwach's power explained (as of this episode, so no spoiler): The Almighty: 1) He can see the future 2) Everything that he sees, he "knows" 3) Everything that he "knows" is POWERLESS before him and CANNOT kill him / harm him This combination makes him invincible in theory. ("Knows" is referring to him comprehending everything within the future he can see, so basically he can comprehend all that he sees in the future and that cannot kill him) IN CONCLUSION: All that he looks at (including the future he can see) is POWERLESS before him. Closest thing to a god in Bleach. He is the ACTUAL son of the Soul King. The attack Ichibe used in the end (should completely erase your existence so rebirth is forbidden), was seen by Yhwach in the future and so Ichibe couldn't kill Yhwach with it. In the last arc, in a flashback, Ichibe used the arm of the soul king to seal away Yhwach's "Almighty" eyes. Only a body part of the soul king can do that. Thats why Yhwach lost to Yamamoto 1000 years ago. His "Almighty" was sealed by Ichibe back then.

I love that kubo and the anime team have been improving on this arc each cour and even giving yhwach more character depth and reason and despite the zero division still losing they atleast were done justice compared to how trash they were done in the manga.
