I am watching this for the second time because of the clear readable Eng Sub(Closed Captions CC). Wish all Chinese Movies had such Eng Sub. As an Asian l love Asian Movies. Somehow I do not feel culturally at home with Western Movies. That is the reason I love to watch Chinese and other Asian Movies. This is a beautiful love story . Enjoyed watching it.

Chinese title, 甘南情歌, Gānnán qínggē, Gannan (Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province) Love Song. Google translation. This prefecture is in the eastern end of Gansu. Wikipedia's map shows it to be the southern (nán) edge of this eastern end of Gansu, stopping before it gets all the way to Gansu's southeastern corner. That corner, centered on the city of Longnan, is Longnan Prefecture. I cried at the end.
