I love this. This would be perfect for a non-gas motor lake with an electric motor as well. Very low maintenance and you could throw a solar panel on the back

On the left side of that boat ramp there are some really deep holes, but for a free boat ramp Jungle Prada is my go to boat ramp. I used to use Bay Pines but it's way to busy and you have to pay. When they first put the pay station in I didn't know that they did that and I got a ticket. I put they ticket in my sun visor and forgot about it. My truck was in my wifes name and about a year later my wife and I were sitting on my back porch drinking coffee I think it was a Saturday early like maybe 8am and a cop came around the side and told us to " PUT THAT OUT " and come out front lol. I thought he was going to bust us for the YOU KNOW but he said I'm not here for that I'm here to take your wife to jail for a no show at court. I was like for what and he said for a ticket at the boat ramp. :>} Needless to say she was Pissed So I told the cop I'll go get her. The cop was really nice and gave us a lecture for the YOU KNOW and took my wife to jail. I bonded her out which was the cost of the ticket and court costs. She's still mad.

Warning!! The deck to pontoon fasteners were plastic on some of these Craig Cats!! The fasteners may fail during high speed maneuvers and injurie's may occur. Also, lots of sharp edges on this vessel....careful.

I've had one for almost a year now. We were considering a wave runner but preferred the side by side seating and less wet than a wave runner. I believe the newer ones have a higher bimini top and its good to get out of the scorching sun. Another thing a wave runner doesn't seem to have. It's mostly used for exploring on the inner coastal. We have u-bolts for towing a kayak but haven't tried it yet. Super stable, won't sink , foam filled pontoons, top speed 28 maybe 30 with one person. About a gallon an hour at 15mph. It may not be what everyone wants but for our needs we're glad we got it.

guy that lived at a condo complex i worked at had one of these, amazing little boat. he was in a wheelchair and because of these little things he was able to by himself hitch up unload it at the boat ramp and take it out without issue.

This is a cool flats boat but way too expensive for me, with a price tag of 25,000, as well as the long haul trailer coming in at 2,500.00 plus tax maki g it come close to 30,000 with TTL. I am get a couple nice little shallow water boats for that price, or can buy a heck of a boat with money left over for 30G. I’m not knocking it but as most builders do they concentrate on the rich supporting them. That’s why there are so many kayaks on the water. And as always will be the blue water thought is always just a thought away. Someone will come out with a littke puddke hopper like this and price it under 5,000 just matter of time. This definitely isn’t worth 30G all the vids out on it never shows it in any waves bigger than 2”-4” wonder what it will do in 2’5’ swells guess not a option for it. Anyways still a nice little toy, just a rich mans toy for sure. There is a big raised platform uo front before the forward pylons, that raised area ahold hv been made into the options of having a live well or storage area cause there isn’t any storage on this that I can see abs the web site isn’t the most informative either. No where does it state the price dead giveaway it’s a rich mans toy. But they will support the company,I’ve always been a believer in if remaster sell 1million of something at a dime, than 100,000 at at quarter, you get the pic, there are millions of blue collar incomes out there, only a limited amount of millionaires and they get bored so quickly with new toys. They practically either give them away or sell fir on miss when bored with it. Anyways cool idea just too rich for my blood

I’ve known several people who have owned them and they usually sell them soon after. Very wet ride, low satisfaction. You can buy a beautiful used boat for the 9-12 thousand people spend on these things.

@@zzz7zzz9 First off, if you buy a new one, the motor alone is worth over 5K. Then add the boat, electrical stuff, then the trailer. They make and sell them to make a PROFIT. Those aren't "paddleboards" with seats "strapped" on. If you think those are paddleboards, then you've never seen one of these boats up close. I have a 2008 that I picked up for 4K in great condition. It does everything it needs to do well. I use mine on open water in Lake Michigan...it's beefier that it appears. They are inexpensive to buy, operate, and easy to maintain. Plus I can easy tow it behind a RAV4.

It appears to me that the motor is sitting way too low and is kicking up "side spray." There wasn't a decent view from the back of the boat to determine this for sure, though. It seemed the lower unit was plowing a lot of water, even when up on plane.

snakeriverfisher Are you on crack? They are a great little shallow water fishing boat. Great for people who don’t have a big garage for a boat, or something to tow with. I personally like them for fishing small lakes alone. They also work gray on streams. 2 people can carry it to the water, so no boat ramp needed. There are a lot of advantages to something like this. It wouldn’t replace my Allison, but I can take them places the Allison wouldn’t go.

I made something like this with my dad but we made one with surfboards and a 15 hp 2 stroke yamaha. It has a system on it that when you steer, the surfboards tilt in the corner. It’s very agile and it looks like it almost goes faster than this thing. It’s lots of fun to drive. Sorry for my bad english.

I can't think of anything else that compares to it in terms of fun and sun. I'm curious what you would suggest for someone who wanted to be able to take 2 people, carry a little gear, have a low-maintenance hull/pontoons, and sit low to the water for a thrilling ride. (Oh yeah, and I want the stability to be able to stand anywhere on it and not have it tilt and flip/capsize.) Jetski: nope. Bass boat: nope. Bowrider: nope. I can't think of anything, but I'm an open-minded fella. I haven't dropped any cash yet. So, change my mind... please.

Doesn't look too versatile. What can you do with it really other than cruising around on a lake? No good for fishing, can't go snorkeling/diving with it, won't be able to handle any waves, you can't even trim the engine. I'd rather get a Boston Whaler same size and do a whole lot with it.

I do not understand this craft from a financial perspective. By the time you pay for that outboard you could cheaply put a real hull under it or get a 2 person jet ski right? first off absolutely stupid place to have the winch. it needs to be much higher up so dont get covered in water when launching or retrieving, easy to have the strap go down and run on a plastic roller and be better.... secondly the sponsons or floats or whatever fancy name you have for them do not hold anywhere near enough air to float this thing right. they should be able to hold a much larger amount of weight on the back this would then stop them from getting covered in water ,, i would like to see them at least twice this thick at the back so when stationary the sponsons stay dry on the top. and the whole thing is NOT wide enough for its flotation capacity. needs to be able to have the spons adjust to simple pull out from each side by at least another 6 inches . this could also then have a complete floor so if the water is choppy is dont come flying up through the centre of the boat/craft.. there is a ton of potential for this type of thing with a bit more thought going into it..... its not a new idea by a long way

There are flexible baffles on the floor that keep you from getting wet. I go out on mine, and have not gotten ANY water on me. I get the impression you've never been on one.
