If you want a smoother, better result with your stamping, it could be helpful to place a hard surface under your page (even that plastic piece you used when you put glue on the book page would help, though a smooth piece of cardboard might be better). There's just a bit too much "give" on layered journal pages to get a proper stamped image. :)

search amazon for something called a: “pencil board” which is made for exactly that. you can get them in sizes to fit your notebooks such as A5, A6, Travelers, etc. they are also great if you use fountain pens because they seem to be right in the sweet spot of the hardness/softness you want behind your page with the fancier pens and such. hope thats helpful!

For the people that feel bad for the books, you can print some pages out from your favorite book, rip separate the quotes you want, paint them with coffee, glue them on and I promise you that you won't feel bad at all. You can recycle the parts you won't use too! Have a wonderful day everyone!🖤

When I saw you with those book pages in your hand, I almost shivered 😱 I can't stand when people do that and always think _They could have copied the pages!!_ I almost thought that I would *never* do that, but then I remembered a book I read almost 10 years ago and I swear, I hated that book with the passion of a thousand suns and, to this day, I still despise it and I would totally rip it apart So, if someone wants to use this (really beautiful) method, you can search for a book you hate, or an old textbook that's accumulating dust or even some school essay. It would be interesting to scroll through your journal years later and read it...
