My partner, Jilly actually heard Fred Hoyle lecture on the diseases from space thing.

Nice, that would have been interesting to hear. I’ve been reading a few Hoyle novels in the last month.

One of the reasons I love these book hauls is that I’ve never heard of half the authors. Some of those covers are just fabulous and I absolutely love those Penguins 😊

You have a very impressive collection. I had not heard of many of the authors You mentioned. I also have sometimes bought 2 copies of the same book without realizing it

No chance of that whilst I’m on a buying ban, but I think I’ll need to carry a list with me in the future..

Just a few random thoughts: Is "The Planet Buyer" about Donald Trump? Wouldn't have expected you to be a Kerouac fan. So is Roy from Roy Reads Anything. Perhaps there is a Beats event in our future?

I’ll have to see if I still have any of my Beat books- they’re all at the other end of the country if I do…

Excellent comments. And he doesn't want the entire planet -- just Canada and Greenland. It would be funny if it wasn't so terrifying. - A friend in the U.S.

@@juliehughes1258 oh, I’m being silly. I thought he was just throwing these mad ideas out there so we’d talk about that rather than the cheaper groceries he promised all last year. Don’t mess with Denmark. Have you ever trodden on Lego?
