The only problem with Moorcock: the sheer amount of stuff he wrote! (That and trying to find the reading order for “The Eternal Champion)…

If you have not read it yet, I highly recommend reading Niven's Protector before going further into Ringworld.

@@GenreBooks23 Um, I guess I would not say prequel so to speak. It's a hard scifi first contact book but it takes place in the same universe. One you have read it, then continue Ringworld you'll understand. When I first read Niven Protector just happened to be my first and then I discovered Ringworld and in hindsight it is the better way.

I've had a Michael Moorcock Elric collection for years but never got to it. Watching this library tour really makes me think how boring book covers are nowadays. I must have the only copy of Startide Rising without dolphins on the cover.

Yep- modern covers have the feel of the focus-group. Inoffensive, but dull..

Thanks. Probably since I was 16, so over 3 decades. I have more stashed away at the other end of the country.. will have to retrieve them at some point..
