A Bouncy Pit Gets Swatted Down

Today a young Pit Bull started bouncing on Winston so he swatted him down several times. Then a young GSD kept kept bugging Winston, and the other dogs, and they dealt with him in their own ways.
Then a Mountain Dog (a Great Pyrenees?) met a Giant Schnauzer.
Neveah tried to steal his ball, but he got it back.
Observing dog behavior at dog parks.

Lots of people don't neuter their dogs for good reasons. It's whatever a vet decides and what's best for the dog.

@@bbycherub2420 nah, most of the time it's due to ignorance and thinking their male or female dog needs their reproductive organs cause it's "natural" or thinking their male dog will miss their balls or whatever. I work in a vet hospital, it's super rare dogs won't be able to get fixed mainly due to heart or bleeding issues. However majority can be fixed. There's no denying it increases life expectancy and eliminates testicular cancers in males and pyometra and mammary cancer(if done before first heat) in females

@@LolatheACS Yea I've seen owners like that before. My dog is neutered I was just saying lots of people don't neuter their dogs for certain reasons valid or not it's their choice and whatever their vet says is best.

Unless you plan to breed get your dog neutered why is it up to a vet to install common sense surely people must understand the very obvious behaviours that are displayed and trust me you can tell a un neutered dog a million times to stop or listen but when it's his time of the month you are irrelevant

Bouncy little man seems pretty understanding, gets swatted a few times and leaves Win some space. Ofc he goes back in for more, the lil rascal, but this is sure to be a good socializing experience for him, learn how to be more chill, not jump at other dogs so much else he gonna get schooled.

@@NannupTiger I went back and looked it is a Giant Schnauzer I got excited there I hardly ever see them anywhere. I didn't realize it was much smaller. Beautiful dog nonetheless.

You're right, he is a Giant Schnauzer, but the Giant Schnauzer was the main breed that created the "Black Russian Terrier."

PS. the Black Russian terrier looks exactly the same size as a Giant Schnauzer because a Black Russian Terrier is just a Giant Schnauzer with a little different genes (like a designer mutt).

@@GumbysImperialMedia Only thing is that Black Russian Terriers can get to be, especially the male can be like a 110 to 130 pounds and I think the most weight the Schnauzer gets is like 90 lb so I should have realized it wasn't a Black Russian unless it was young. And they're allowed to grow a fuller coat even though some people will give them a Schnauzer cut. But looking at that Schnauzer I kind of like the smaller size might have to change my mind about them. No too much grooming ✂️

He's probably more like Winston (a Mastiff/Pit mix), not 'Pit' in precise terms.

If by pitbull you mean American Pit Bull Terrier, weight of males is 35 to 60 pounds, females 30 to 50 pounds. Some are larger, but they don't meet the breed standard. And that is a common color for APBT and Amstaff. My Mumford (50 pounds), who is an APBT per DNA test done by the Dog Aging Project is exactly the same color. They were able to tell me what his color would be from his DNA, and they were correct.
