Lovely to see so many old coins. I mainly collect decimal coinage, but have recently started my journey into pre-decimal. I didn't know there were so many error variants and mint marks for each year! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Another enyoyable video - thank you, Paul. The narrow and wide date 1875s were good to find together - maybe there will be an 1875H to complete the trio, though, probably as likely a find as a 1951! The K mint mark on the French 1874 10 centimes indicates that it was minted at the Bordeaux mint.

It‘s fascinating to see the continuity from 1863 to 1966, one coin, one design. Here in austria forinstens we had (1860 - 1960) Gulden (Kreuzer), Krone (Heller), Schilling (Groschen), Reichsmark (Pfennig) and Schilling again after 1945.

Fantastic hunt, the board is looking great! I have a few of these pennies and really enjoy them. Amazes me, the great looking older coins you all find in these pennies. I collect US type sets and a lot of the older coins are very expensive or in poor condition!! The 1774 is really neat. My oldest US coin is a 1803 penny, or what's left of it!! Keep up the great videos!!!

Another great hunt there. Ref the 1874, it's a bit of a complex year with both the Mint and Heaton minting coins. Michael Gouby's book on Victorian bronze pennies has 13 pages devoted to 1873. It lists 7 different date widths for each mint and various die parings and differences in Britannia's helmet and also differences in the lighthouse not to mention differences in Victoria's portrait. Sadly in order to obtain which date and die pairings you need a coin in decent condition, the edge teeth in particular for the date

That 5 on the 1875 Narrow date looked offset making the year looked squashed. But I picked up it was a narrow date immediately, some nice additions & upgrades
