Hey Trooper just curious the significance of two inches. what would have been wrong with 1 inch on the marble slab? Was just wondering if that would have prevented the need for table modification as it would have been lighter and less expensive. Either way looks like problem is solved. Very professional set up. Keep up the hard work. There is always initial adversity in matters like this. Overcoming it is what makes or breaks a business.

my great grandfather had a grocery store 100 years ago in downtown Vallejo California where I was born as well. we have the spice cabinet that still has the names of a lot of the spices it's like 6 feet tall and even wider with flip out drawers. He had a huge marble countertop like yours. My dad used some of it to make a bench that overlooks their beautiful view at their property. And then some of it is in the kitchen of this home that will always be standing up on a hill
