Two other things: 1. There's another hidden cave in the Highlands, with the entrance hidden behind a tree 2. I think the double Zic is because Expanded also did stuff with him

You can buy fairy stones at the Junimo Woods! It's definitely the easiest way to finish that special order, since the other two items aren't as annoying to get.

There's a money tree in the highlands you can cut down and replant on the farm and it respawns!

Also the reason why there are two Zics is because their twin brothers they are discernable from their clothes that's why they have the same birthday and why there is two friendship bars

I love the expanded series, it was the motivating factor that got me to download my first mod, (currently have about 130 mods in my current play through). It might be interesting to highlight some of the quality of life mods. I’m a big fan of convenient inventory, combined with chests anywhere, and bigger backpack. The skull cavern elevator combined with mod that allows you to control how fast time flows took all the stress out of skull caverns. Automate and lookup anything, which you’ve shown, are in the category of “I can’t live without”. Thank you so much.

I adore this series. I highly recommend Wildflour and her mods if you want additions to craftables and machines! She has a lot of great ones under the Atelier umbrella.

the Digging Like Worms Book is from the Archaeology mod and all it does is give you a little Archaeology experience. I had to find this out myself for my game because I was really confused by it

@@salmence100 for the double Zic (if you haven't already figured it out) I'd carefully look over your mods folder and check for duplicate folders. OR duplicate files inside the same folder. Been using the Distant Lands mod with SVE for forever and never had that happen, but could be b/c of an old folder/file somehow sticking around. Had a similar issue with the Aquarium Update and turns out I forgot to remove some of the old folders from a previous update.

I've noticed in the Deep Woods that enemies are randomly tougher, faster, and stronger, seemingly unrelated to the level/depth you're at. I've been 2 tapped by enemies hitting for around 130 damage

I was doing the qi crops quest right around the time we got the new trees, and I had almost completely deforested Cindersnap Forest looking for Qi beans. The bright side is when the forest grew back in the new trees were much more evenly spread through the forest! Still felt like the Lorax would be mad at me though.

Love that you keep adding new mods! For fishing in the badlands (and other combat areas too, like the highlands and swamp) trinkets are super helpful! My favorite is the rapid quiver, but quivers and ice rods are very nice. If you really wanna try pre-combat mastery, you can baracade yourself with fences to protect from enemies that walk up to you, and the reward for the monster crop quest is helpful for flying enemies

I think both SVE and the expanded Witches Swamp may have added Zic as a NPC and that the Witches Swamp also added Zic so you have two from two different mods? Idk if that’s right though. Also for the monster crops, you may just have to destroy them all and replant them? Idk what would cause that to happen but it’s worth a shot right? Edit: I noticed in my SVE file too that the Golden Fish got renamed to Glowfish, but I think that’s because they added a Goldfish to SVE

tip to facilitate fishing without dying!! once you get the farming mastery statue, you can use the fishing buff and that makes fishing in the combat areas so much easier :)

I think the Goldenfish had its name changed to Glowfish because Expanded added the actual Goldfish for your to catch, so I guess it's a way to not mix them up

I just realized... If you're still playing with Adventurer's Guild Expanded, I don't think you ever started the actual content of the mod?? Usually if you enter the Guild after playing at least 15 in-game days and you've completed the initiation quest (which I'm very sure you've done both lmao) there should be a cutscene with Robin and Marlon about expanding the Guild

Oof youtube was slow recommending me this episode lol, glad to see you re-added the deepwoods mods! Personally I like it more in 1.6 than in 1.5 due to the addition of moss, you can leave the naturally generating trees outside the deepwoods around to grow moss on them and now just get wood from the deepwoods. Also depending on what you'd consider a "big" mod the "Law and Order: SV" fits in decently well even this far into the game IMO, I won't spoil it but one of the characters does make some sense to be introduced in year 2, or at least late year 1.

With all the mods I have and all the unique items, I feel like it justified getting a mod to upgrade my backpack to 48 slots and my god it helps so much, I'd reccomend getting one if you feel like your inventory is always full.

Another mod that goes well with the new swamp is the alecto the witch mod I always seem to have doubled zic The elixirs sold at the outpost shops as well as the weapons are there to help you with beating the highlands Void delight is a wonderful buff to go to the highlands or crimson badlands with

Some Sal Validation (since everyone likes being validated) In my own Expanded play through I also took Fishing Mastery first! And I’m not really a fisherman, with fishing being my last level ten! With the amount of difficult fish and the new areas to fish at, having a better rod and more bobbers is so helpful!

The Camilla cut-scene at Shearwater Bridge was there LONG BEFORE the Mastery system was a thing. The fact that the two coincided in your game is pure chance, lol. EDIT: You will probably want to reset your trees sooner rather than later. I have run into AT LEAST two recipes that require both Birch and Fir seeds, respectively. Adding both to your Tree farm will help you IMMENSELY as I am discovering in my own game. EDIT # 2: The Crimson Badlands monsters are some of the hardest in the game that I know of. I do not know if Oil of Garlic will do a thing there. I cannot recommend the highest-quality Dewdrop Berries you have enough, lol. That was how I did it in the one SVE play-through I got that far in. "Blue hat man" is supposed to be Andy, which you will understand why during one of his cut-scenes... I will not spoil more than that. One last EDIT (# 3): The Children's Sketchbook will let you get Prismatic Shards from artifact spots, so maybe that is where you got it?

I'm only halfway through the video so you might have realised this later on, but the sprite spring gives a +3 fishing buff certain days, which stacks with food buffs! I think they last around 7 real minutes but I could be wrong!

@Salmence When you updated SVE, did you delete the folder first, then add it back it, or just drop the new files in? When you see doubles of things (Zic, elixirs, double harvests, etc). it usually means at least parts of a mod are listed twice in the folder, so it loads twice. So there are more in game than should be. This happened to me once updating SVE once, so maybe thats the cause here? Also try visiting Marnies shed, after 8 hearts. She will teach something good :) Thank you so much for the great play through!

When you play expanded from day 1 and go the junimo route the movie theatre adds an item that is a shark, caught it and cried tears of joy Never catching it again Also the love for cooking mod is 1.6

I have no idea what the actual solution is but because i like puzzles i am putting my thoughts about 30:48 here. 1st, pretty certain that its asking for a fairy stone rather htan dust or anything because fairy stone's flavor text is "An old miner's song suggests these are made from the bones of ancient fairies" 2nd, easy solar essence (5 specifically) 3rd, same for void essence (another 5) 4th is whats stumping me because frog eggs seem obvious but far, far too rare to need 10 of them and requireing combat mastery, next thought is SVE frogs or tadpole's but I don't think this is part of SVE so requireing that seems super odd so probably not that. Only thing I have so far is slime or slime eggs both being kinda like frog eggs only other idea is to find something that kinda like a tadpole.

1:17:15 I always have to turn off the fog effect in the settings, it really does make it too hard for me to see. Have you considered the bigger backpack mod? I know some people think it's cheaty, but there's just so much stuff with all the mods (there's enough with just SVE to warrant it, imo, let alone all the other mods you have). I sometimes wish I had an even bigger backpack option lol 😅
