While I would love to have more subscribers, I do very much appreciate the subscribers I have, especially you Tony, because you do comment so frequently. I love it! And I love the history of our art. As I age, I find myself more and more gravitating to the role of magic historian. Thanks for commenting, Tony.

As you mentioned Scott Alexander (creator of the fantastic Nailed it), have you thought about doing a history of Russian Roulette type effects?

I have thought about it and I may do it at some point. I have referenced on mentioned it on a number of other videos

Thank you for the video David. Question: What resources are best if you want to learn the sub trunk effect in the best details? It's harder to get into illusions. The instruction videos or books are not as readily available as close up magic. How to start your illusion work as a magician?

You raise a really good point. If you want to learn an Elmsly Count, it is in countless books and videos, but if you want to learn to perform the Metamorphosis, it is virtually nowhere. I learned my doing. I purchased a trunk (I have had three over the years) and started rehearsing with my assistant in our basement. Then, I performed the trunk trick for almost twenty years. I think I know it pretty well, but not nearly as well as The Pendragons, who, in my opinion, did the best trunk trick ever. Reach out to me on Facebook or email. Let's exchange phone numbers; maybe I can walk you through it over the phone. Your approach to the trick will depend a little on how your trunk works. Not all trunks work the same, but the basic principles will be consistent.

@DavidDellman Thank you so much David. I really appreciate your effort and help. I ll definitely be reaching out to you in email. It's amazing that you learned this marvel of an illusion and its intricacies basically by doing it yourself with practice. Pendragons definitely had the best performance of this

Excellent research, love learning more about magic ' s history. So let me know if you have any ideas on our first collaboration. We can always discuss the topic, in advance and even do a live stream. Our Skype is easy enough too. If you have Facebook we can keep in touch via messenger. I'll even give you my number, I'm always available to brainstorm routines and such. Thank you for being a true inspiration my friend.
