He also wrote a note in his piano that said “I would have killed myself if i didnt love my art” And he removed the legs of his piano so he can feel the vibrations

Another fun fact about the Ninth Symphony: I forget who, but someone told the orchestra to not follow Beethoven’s conducting instructions and to just keep playing after he cut them off at the end. The person wanted to take advantage of Ludwig’s deafness, but Beethoven caught it and kept cutting the orchestra off anyway. There was another incident earlier in his life where Ludwig was going to perform a piano work for some higher-class people. They kept talking throughout the performance, so he stood up, slammed the lid of the piano down really hard, and basically screamed at them for not paying attention. He had a pretty quick temper, apparently. 😂

Beethoven and Mozart may have met. There is no contemporary evidence to confirm that it actually happened.

Though apocryphal, the "choose your own adventure" on this is usually: Mozart invited the young Beethoven to play, and then said "that is studied/prepared: improvise". So Beethoven did, and then Mozart delivered the line. Then Beethoven pulled on Mozart hair, removing his mask, and revealing it was in fact Haydn.

Mozart let Beethoven play for him to see if he was good now Mozart was very hard to impress so when Beethoven played some challenging pieces buy Mozart responded coldly but then Beethoven asked Mozart for a theme and played and Mozart was impressed also i believe that Mozart invited Beethoven to a little paryy or something like that and Mozart said i’d keep ur eyes open for this kid
