So basically the past and future can only crush you if you think they are actually real and you are a little person stuck in a little sliver of time called the now. If you take up your position of power in the now (as the eternal observer, not a little time-bound person), the now becomes eternal instead of a little sliver of time, and the past memories and thoughts about the future become little specks of dust in a vast field of potentialities that one can choose to conjure up in the now, one at a time. This is one of the most profound and empowering realizations.

@gj80782 ай бұрын
@@taNyPT they are related, but how does that mean that thought creates time. does your perspective have the concept of projection to it? or does creating time mean creating events we find favourable and avoiding which are not, in future
@taNyPT2 ай бұрын
@@gj8078 Thought operates based on memory, which is essentially a recording of past experiences. When we think, we draw upon these memories, which means that thought is always connected to the past. The past then influences how we perceive the present. Thought also projects itself into the future, imagining outcomes, possibilities, and fears. This projection of thought into what "might happen" creates a sense of psychological time - the gap between the present moment and the anticipated future. The movement of thought from past to future, trying to solve problems or seek security, creates the illusion of time as a continuum. This is not the actual present moment, but a mental construction of past and future events, which gives rise to the feeling that time exists beyond the now.

He clarified “there is no time/mind between two waking states and two dream states.” When awake and when dreaming we do “SEEM” to experience time. Though a bit differently. When dreaming there is still some subtle sense of now, but there is no reality checking, and sometimes there is still sense of progression and memory of what was and is being experienced. Lucid dreaming as you know is different as well. But it still is only ever now. Between waking and dream states there is no mind and there is no seeming at all, which is why we don’t experience time when asleep (between dreams).

Just wondering if our "now" is limited to what we are experiencing and hence time does not exist for us when we sleep. Our "now" can also be experienced by others around us, and so, if someone was watching us sleep, surely that time has existed. Just because we do not personally experience the time, doesn't mean it didn't exist. The body, is only part mind, and the body experiences sleep in many ways and that experience and the quality of the sleep affects your waking "now". I do, however, agree with the eternal now. Many years ago, I've written a poem about my understanding of the same.

I have an analogy! Think of -1, 0, +1 -1 is the past, 0 is the present, +1 is the future. With numbers, we know all numbers are different dimensions of the zero. Because when we combine all infinite numbers in - and + we get 0. It means 0 contains all the numbers in existence inside it. We think of zero as an empty quantity. But… In reality, 0 is whole. Because, we exist in a - and + universe. For example… For any number to be able to exist, say +1, there has to be a counterpart in existence. An opposite, -1. Otherwise +1 won’t exist. Similarly, everything in the universe has that system as well. Dead/alive. Hate/love. Dark/light. Everything we experience in this reality is based off that system. Nothing exists in this universe without an equal opposite. These are two opposite manifestations of the whole, the zero. Since they make a zero when combined, it means zero is both whole and empty at the same time. Whole because it contains two sides of the coin. It is the coin! But because we exist outside of the zero, we tend to view the zero as “empty” instead… Because it seems to vanish out of our existence… because our existence is not whole, it is a manifestation of opposites. When things become whole they vanish from our perspective. This what i mean by 0 is whole and empty at the same time. Empty in our view, but whole in actuality. For something whole has to have an opposite to exist. Which means it is not whole! We live in a yin yang reality. Two opposites reality. Without polarization we won’t exist. Nothing would. So… the truth is 0 is the only thing that truly exists. We are simply experiencing the two opposites of its contents. There is not future concept unless there is a past concept. But they are not true existences. Just like the -1 and +1. The only thing that truly exist is zero. The present!

Past and future create the illusion of the character/persona. Awareness is all which is ones true nature and if we can hold that state then all else like characters, pasts, futures, dreams, the now is simply not needed. 😊❤ P.s. Problem is you will not defeat the mind, minding, thoughts. WE ARE TRAPPED IN THE BRAIN SOME HOW. And when it dies we are let free.

Thinking about the past is just piecing together individual memories into patterns, which are then extended to help us predict the future. What I’m trying to say is, even if “time” doesn’t exist, the patterns of the universe does. For example the movement of celestial bodies or the idea of cause and effect. In other words, time could be viewed in many ways, but essentially, it’s just imagination - but the patterns that “time” is helping us understand, are still there, and are very real!

There are examples, albeit very rare, of people who claim to have visited the past. Not at will, as mentioned here, but by accident. A famous example would be the Moberly and Jourdain case of 1901. Several others cases exist and are sometimes centred on certain places like Bold Street in Liverpool where a few people have claimed independently to have found themselves projected back in time. I don't know whether they're true but they're known as 'time slips' and the witnesses sound quite convincing. Claiming that 'no one has ever gone back in time' would not be true if these cases have any validity.

I was interested in the speaker’s ideas but off put by the dialog with a child. The exchange revealed the mechanism by which uninitiated minds may be manipulated and exploited.

How was the child manipulated or exploited? And how did you even think of such a horrible thing from that? By the mechanism you mesn language? Way to go. Might as well say manipulators breath, so by breathing one is showcasing the mechanism manipulators use to stay alive, get Energy and manipulate. Wow!! So deep

Hi, this is a study of metaphysics and duality. If you want to start researching and reading - there are many amazing resources. Depending on how complex you want to go - I suggest 'The Ra Contacts' or the Seth Material (Complex) to Conversations with God or The untethered Soul - (easier) The truth of our reality is an amazing, interesting eye opening and completely joyful experience! All the best :)

You are looking for Hermetism, kid. With some luck you have a study group in your city, this knowledge can only be teached "from lips to ear". That's the fundamental rule.

There’s still a place for a word like time inside of this framework, its still useful. The now is physical, and it harms you but for the taking of action, and that action takes place in the now, You have to strategically choose when a given instance of observational planning involves taking some action or taking no action, for several back to back instances, all in order to prevent the eventualities of harm inherent in the now. And we never cease, it goes on and on until we either breakdown, go apoptotic, or get caught by some particular fate. Observation after observation, plan after plan, action after action, the now perpetuates. We need a new word for this phenomenon, now that we’re out of time.
