Horrible season, this was likely our only chance at deep playoff run for the next few years. With having Watson on contract now, we will have to let go of other guys unless we can find someone who will buy his contract out (like Broncos cough cough). I predict we will lose Myles, Chubb, and Cooper (or at least 2 of the 3) by next season to make up cap room for other players since injuries are existing in our franchise. Plus we aren't going to keep Flacco, he won't want to be a back up unless he is paid a lot which we cant do, and don't want to dedicate time to a team just for fun. It was a good run for him but his time in the NFL are VERY VERY likely over.

I really hope Flacco's success was more than just due to the window backup QBs get when there isn't much film on them with a team. I guess we will see what happens next year with the offense which is basically going to be a whole new team. The odds of Deshaun Watson being elite after basically years of not playing NFL football as a consistent starting QB are slim, but stranger things have happened I guess. Having a season with minimal injuries is probably the number 1 priority at this point. That being said, I think if we strategically rotate our backups into the game more we can reduce injury risk and also improve the quality of our backups (if done correctly). Who knows wtf next season is going to look like though.
