@@TheForever206 Battlefront 3 was canceled, Battlefront 2015 had no clone wars and a lack of content, Battlefront 2 2017 had a loot box controversy, no Battlefront 3 EA, and the Classic Collection was a buggy mess. This series cannot catch a break.

@@xboxed720 The lootbox controversy was purelly a nitpick. Gameplay-wise (and generally everything about) BF2 has always been solid from the start and it hasn't changed one bit in that regard. Battlefront2 is the perfect Battlefront game and I don't see how they can go any further on that formula while still capturing the essence of the OGs.

In all honesty, if they could release the OG Battlefront III, it would likely be the best selling Star Wars game in roughly a decade. As it would likely outsell the EA Battlefront titles, possibly Jedi Survivor games and Outlaws. Have enjoyed the OG Battlefront games back on PS2 and got them again for PC, so if this were to release, would very likely pick it up.

I'm sure I have seen footage for Battlefront 3 back around 2008. It showed a battle in Tatooine which the player then gets into a ship and flies up and it seamlessly exited the atmosphere into a massive space battle between two cruisers which you could enter. To this day, I have not seen anything as ambitious in a big multiplayer game

same team that leaked the other build on discord a few years ago! they found a new wii build the team that leaked it are some of the biggest battlefront 2 PC modders :D also slightly wrong bob iger is not why this game shutdown this game shutdown like 5-7 years before disney bought lucasfilm and lucasarts lucaarts as a publisher shutdown also before it but why they canned this free radical game is because free radical was caught stealing money to develop this game they were given to develop some of their other IPS so lucasarts accused them of a ponzi scheme and cut ties with them.

I still don't understand why this got cancelled when, by all acounts, they were around 95% done with the game. At this point, it really seemed like they had some little content to go in and add and do some game testing and bug fixing. Just release the game at that point. What a waste of money with all that development time.

Once this is in a playable state by the modders it will be SO much better to play this version compared to the Xenia emulator thanks to the Dolphin Emulator being the most stable emulator out there. Can't wat to try it for myself!!

It was cancelt by a LucasArts owned by George Lucas in 2008. Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012, four years later. I know, it is hard to fathom to some people, but not everything is Disneys fault. 😜
