You are one on this trip to be yelling LANGUAGE! Lol! Finally tried the Matrix shad since Academy is now stocking them, no disappointment in them whatsoever! Thank you!

It's a really great bait. The tail action is simply superior to other soft-plastics.

Are you right Handed or left handed? I noticed you reel with your left on your bait caster. I'm new to bait caster. Reel with my left on spinning reels. Not sure why most right handers reel with there right on bait casters and reel with thier left on spinners. Trying to figure if I should just learn reeling with my left on bait casters also. This way when I cast I don't have to change hands with the pole..lol
@MarshManMasson5 жыл бұрын
I'm right-handed. I reel with my left hand for both spinning and casting gear.

Had that happened to me once before. Line starts to just start spooling one side of the reel and before you know it you're getting terrible backlash. It really does suck. Basically just trolled along to get all the line off and reeled it back up.

Wanted also say how jealous I am with your guys fish limits! Here on the central east coast of Florida we can keep FOUR trout 15-20 inch with one being over twenty, One Red in the 18-27 inch area. Why is it so diverse? We can catch just like you do there but its a NO NO to keep a enough if you want a good fish fry! I have to work for a living and can only manage two days out of a week so I must resort in quite a few frozen fish! Tend to keeping the bigger size in fish because they are so few, is that really conservation?
@MarshManMasson5 жыл бұрын
Louisiana has the most extensive coastal wetlands in North America, thanks to being located at the terminus of the Mississippi River. Our ecosystem is incredibly productive. We simply have more fish than any other coastal state.

@@MarshManMasson of certain few! Other than those, Florida Rules! Sorry, havent ever seen you catch snook,tarpon, redfish trout,bass or a bonefish in a day, that my friend is Florida! That is just inshore! Yes you have an incredible fishery but as far as diversity, No chance!
@timprall54175 жыл бұрын
I will admit that while im still young at saltwater fishing, I have not caught all these in a single day but I'm definitely working on it! I did rule out many other species just for the fact I do not not fish with anything but artificial.

@MarshManMasson5 жыл бұрын
Yes, but not too warm. When temps get too high, speckled trout will crush topwaters for the first 30 minutes or so of the day, and then the bite really slows down.
