A BURMY and WORMADAM of EVERY TYPE!

I wanted to address this since I am seeing it a lot. Mothim of Every Type doesn’t make sense in this context because no matter what the cloak, Male Burmy evolve into Mothim. Edit: look like the spam bots are back. If the name doesn’t have a checkmark next to it, it’s not me.

I like how the Psychic Type Wormadam has a moustache, despite being a lady, because whenever someone turns up non-conforming, people's minds get totally rattled. Also, while I absolutely LOVE the idea of a nesty Burmy, I also like the idea of the Flying Type being made of cotton or dandelion puffs. When fluffy seeds start spreading around the air, they get stuck on EVERYTHING. Perhaps imagine a nest-Burmy getting all that stuff stuck in its wrappings.

Ground and Rock types are separated because of lore. Ground types spend their time in or around sand or mud, live underground, or have the power to move earth. Rock types stay in or around mountains, cliffs, or in caves or just have rough rock-like skin. There are very few pokemon that are just living earth. If you want to separate their designs, you'd have to either add a background or use the standard pokemon type coloring. Most rock types are grey, while ground types are brown.

The Party Cloak Burmy and Wormadam should horde Exp. Candy and Rare Candy in their cloak for Party Cloak Burmy it hordes xs exp. candy to medium exp. candy and for Party Cloak Wormadam it would horde Large, and XL exp candy as well as Rare Candy. To reference pinatas holding candy

Great designs you have there. It greatly amuses me how when I was brainstorming for myself what different Wormadam types would look like we came up with the exact same things for some of them, such as Fighting being in a punching bag and Fire being in hot coals. I did however have some differing ideas for certain types, such as Electric having Festive Cloak (wrapped in Christmas lights) and Dragon having Treasure Cloak. Treasure Cloak is supposed to represent a dragon's hoard of gold coins, gems, and a sword and shield with dragon designs on them sticking out.

Finally, an opportunity to talk about how much the rock and ground types grind my gears 😂 yeah I kinda hate how confusing the two can get from a design standpoint, it even makes gameplay odd as you have to sorta guess if the new, earthy looking pokemon you just found is rock or ground, or both. It's also weird how rock is weak to ground, yet takes no damage from sandstorms which is tied to both but probably closer to ground. Idk lol it's a mess

Ashes/soot could have worked for fire type Burmy. Then when it evolves, they could reignite or start smoldering. The Pokédex entry could involve it collecting soot and ash after forest fires or from extinguished fire pits. Coal could still be incorporated into the design that way, too, possibly even live embers.

I feel like this of every type video is the one most likely to become a reality someday. I imagine the lore would be something along the lines of a bug catcher who specializes in Burmy and Wormadam thinking "Hold on, what if Burmy used things other then foliage, sand or trash for its cloak?" Then immediately proceeds to hit up their pokemon breeder friend/relative to get them on board with this little experiment. They would probably start with something simple like the no cloak; and after a successful evolution into no cloak Wormadam they would move onto snow, bed, and party cloak.

You know since pokemon ditched the location evolution gimmick that felt incredibly natural for eevee, nosepass, magneton, crabrawler, and charjabug, maybe they could make burmy's cloak change gimmick be dependant on the amount of pokemon of a particular type in a given area or in your party. Meaning if you have 5 grass types and a burmy which would be caught in its no cloak form in a heavily bug populated area, the grass types share their leaves and plants to form its plant cloak. If you want a water type burmy fill the five spots of your party with water types etc.
