I bought the two seater because the Deliverator is a whole $5000 more! I have to remove my rear seat and harness I did not want, but had to pay for, then install the panels so I have my cargo space for camping gear. It will be under $500 for materials to do the conversion.

@@joebuslife9275 I'll be posting the results in the FB owners group. The rear seat base is shockingly heavy, about 35 pounds and I have not removed the back and harness yet. For fast conversions you'd have to leave the seat back and harness in place because their fasteners require removing the trunk for access. I'll be using 3 or 4 rubber covered pipe clamps to hold the front edge of the side panels to the frame. Some passengers might not complain if the seat back is missing and they have a cushion instead.

This video has not been updated to announce the end of the vectored steering project and the changing of the steering gear to one with more teeth, and a longer Pitman arm. The hardware change is easier than trying to get a very critical software change officially approved for highway use. All 2023 FUVs will have the upgraded steering and the $750 trunk option is now included standard in the base price. Arcimoto just revealed their huge new project to outsource warranty service and general repairs to EV service shops across the nation. Just two years ago there were not enough qualified shops.

Anything is possible but Arcimoto is all electric so you wont see that from them.

The Deliverator does have a foldaway shelf but any seating from the factory has to be up to federal standards. They are mulling over the idea of easily removable rear seats for the FUV. With the door kit it makes a large cargo bin. No way they want any product that has emissions.

If they just made a gas model, they could really sell these things. If they had a gas version, they could put AC in these and that would be a game changer for them.

There are plenty of gas three wheelers out there but a gas Arcimoto feels like a car that runs on hay. It would completely miss the point. I drove one the other day and there is nothing like it!

Never and a day for gas models. They'd rather shove knitting needles in their eyeballs than do that. It would be nuts on the precipace of the complete collapse of personal fossil fueled vehicles. When you don't cut off yourself from nature with a greenhouse/ solar oven made of doors and windows there is much less use for AC. I would never want the door option here in Forida. I savor the cross breezes when parked. I clip a personal fan to the handlebar to blow in my face when stopped with no wind. The game is already changing drastically, you just refuse to admit it.
