A Busy Day On The CSX River Line

I finally caught up with this one! Good one Adam, and a great catch with that Seaboard heritage unit! I remember seeing real Seaboard diesels when we moved down to Richmond in 1987, they were still very much in evidence along with "Family Lines," "L&N," "SCL," and believe it or not the occasional C&O diesel, all of the above CSX hadn't gotten around to repainting yet. Hey, I just got my latest issue of "Railpace" and was shocked to read about the washouts on the River Sub and the Metro-North lines, I'd seen no mention of them anywhere. Again, a good show! Thanks!

Yeah the washouts weren't too bad compared to some of the roads in the area some people's homes too got completely flooded. they only briefly mentioned on the news about the tracks being washed out. Both the Metro-North side and the CSX side, they both had the lines reopened in about 2-3 days after.

The drone as a camera, the amount of shots that would have been impossible before just explodes and opens up with a drone. Just be careful with it abid by the Laws and FAA regulations it's just a totally awesome experience...

Great video I worked on that bridge at The Cove with Conrail I was with B&B pile driving game had very little track time in the morning I always had to wait for tvla to go north not only did we build a bridge we ripped the old one down brought back real good memories thank you

I heard a lot about those conrail trains the TVLA especially how things have changed since then but also many things still relativlet the same as well... Love the River Line. Maybe more scenery than the Hudson Line. Would be great if passenger service was returned to the River Line.

Thank you for watching Cats01, I totally agree... Actually I think passenger trains to return to the River Line, but also a handful more freight on the Water Level route as well.. At least one-two freights on the Hudson Line during the day would be nice besides what does run typically at night. As for the River Line 6 "3north-3south" or more passenger runs a day to start would be nice.
