കൂടുതൽ ആക്സിലേറ്റർ ചവിട്ടുമ്പോൾ കൂടുതൽ പെട്രോൾ എടുക്കുന്നു എന്നത് ശരി തന്നെയാണ്. പക്ഷേ ആർപിഎം കുറയുന്നതിനാൽ വളരെ കുറഞ്ഞ പവർ സ്ട്രോക്ക് അല്ലേ നടക്കുന്നത്. ഒരു നിശ്ചിത സഞ്ചാര ദൂരപരിധിയിൽ കുറഞ്ഞ പവർസ്റ്റോക്ക് എടുത്താൽ അതുവഴി കുറെ ഇന്ധനം ലാഭിക്കുമല്ലോ.

Bro....greater the gear lower the rpm more the milage enanne ( for eg you can run below 2k rpm in 1st gear also but do you get a good milage .No ) This is simple logic. If you have a good road and having sufficient speed for top gear go for the top gear and maintain a speed that will stabilise your rpm which is around 2k rpm

എനിക്ക് maruthi 800 ഉണ്ട്.. അധികം ഓട്ടം ഇല്ല... കൂടുതലും city drive ആണ്... ഹൈ വേ ഓട്ടം തീരെ ഇല്ല.. പക്ഷെ ഇടയ്ക്കു ഹൈ വേ പോയി.. Open road കിട്ടിയത് കൊണ്ട് 4th ഗിയറിൽ കുറച്ചു സ്പീഡിൽ ഓടിക്കാൻ പറ്റി 😊 (70-80 😁) ചോദ്യം ഇതാണ്, ഇങ്ങനെ 4th ഗിയറിൽ പോവുമ്പോൾ കുറച്ചു അകലെ റെഡ് സിഗ്നൽ കണ്ടാൽ direct ന്യൂട്രൽ ഇട്ടാൽ കുഴപ്പം ഉണ്ടോ...?? ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ 2,3 സിഗ്നലിൽ ഇട്ടു പോയി... ശരിക്ക് ഇതിന്റെ method എങ്ങനെ ആണ്?

അത്രേം സ്പീഡിൽ പോകുമ്പോൾ neutral ഇടുന്നത് അപകടമാണ്... Neutral ഇട്ടുക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ engine free ആകും, engine breaking നഷ്ടപ്പെടും, വണ്ടി നിർത്തണമെകിൽ brake നല്ലതുപോലെ ചവിട്ടണം. So അത്രേം സ്പീഡിൽ പോകുമ്പോൾ നിർത്തണമങ്കിൽ നേരത്തെ തന്നെ accelerator pedal നിന്ന് കാല് എടുക്കുക അപ്പൊൾ fuel cut off ആകും. പിന്നെ brake സാവധാനം ചവിട്ടി slow ചെയ്ത് speed നല്ലതുപോലെ കുറയുമ്പോൾ ക്ലച്ചും കൂടെ ചവിട്ടി നിർത്തുക. വണ്ടി നിർത്തുവാൻ gear ഓരോന്ന് down ചെയ്യേണ്ട ആവശ്യമില്ല.. പഴയ രീതിയാണ് ഇത്. എന്നാലും neutral ഇടാൻ തോന്നിയ മനസ്സേ..😂

Doesn’t make sense. Higher gear is always used for fuel efficiency and reduction in rpm. .this’s simple physics.does not need a automobile diploma. What is wrong in 1-3, or 3-5. Of course depends on traffic and road. Do u save fuel in remaining in 3rd (like my younger daughter) or moving to 5th earliest? I drive both 2007 manual santro AND 2020 venue turbo automatic. Always try to reach top gear earliest, say after 30 kmph!

That's not what he meant. Try to accelerate your way to 5th gradually. And when in 5th try to maintain the rpm between 1500 and 2000. Then, you get better mileage. But you'll be slow. And while shifting, shift between 2 and 2.5 rpm.

Skipping gears when upshifting is a waste of fuel. Sequential upshift is required inorder to achieve max fuel economy when driving normally. Selecting top gear at 30 kmph is nonsense. You are straining your engine. Maybe your daughter is better than your driving... Just buy bullock cart if you are only the type of mileage focused person.
