HERMETO PASCOAL
The sounds of nature Hermeto fascinated since childhood. From a barrel of castor pumpkin (pumpkin), he made a fife and was playing for the birds. By going to the pond, I spent hours playing with water. What was left of stuff your grandfather's blacksmith, he hung on a line and was taking sounds.
He began playing professionally with his older brother José Neto in forró and wedding parties, taking turns between the accordion and tambourine. Hermeto experienced the music and never stopped.
The musician has more than 20 albums and an outstanding career in Brazil and abroad since the release of the classic Slaves Mass in 1976, when Hermeto began to have international recognition. With the name already recognized the talent, quality and creativity, he has become, along with his group, the attraction of various events such as the First International Jazz Festival in 1978, in São Paulo, with the participation of Chick Corea, John McLaughlin and Stan Getz, who made sure to take a "soup" with the group.
In addition to playing regularly with his group, Hermeto Pascoal also played with the Sound Four and the Quarteto Novo, in addition to present currently in training with the Symphony Orchestra and Big Band.
Hermeto has several works as a composer, arranger and instrumentalist and is recognized not only by the musical prowess, but also for their creativity and spontaneity when working the sound to create music.

One of the most expressive Brazilian musicians, Nelson Faria carries in his musical luggage recorded 12 CDs, eight books - two of them with issues in the US, Japan and Italy - a DVD with the group Our Trio and video class Master Touch. In addition, participating as a musician, arranger and / or producer on more than 200 CDs of various national and international artists. Also signs the guitar model Condor Nelson Faria Signature (JNF-1), developed by the artist in partnership with the renowned factory instruments.
Among artists with whom he shared stages and studios stand out John Bosco, Cassia Eller, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Ivan Lins, Till Broenner, Zelia Duncan, Ana Carolina, Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta, Tim Maia, Leila Pinheiro, Nico Assumpção, Gilson Peranzzetta , Paulo Moura, Wagner Tiso, Edu Lobo, Fátima Guedes, Karolina Vucidolac, Josee Konning, Lisa Ono, Baby Brazil, Pascoal Meirelles, Antonio Adolfo, Nivaldo Ornelas, Mauro Senise, Mauricio Einhorn and many others. In his career, he builds presentations in Brazil and in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Currently, Nelson Faria also serves as a professor at the University of Örebro, Sweden, and work alongside the most important bigbands in Europe and the US as arranger and soloist. Since March 2015, is also host of "A coffee at home," posted on the web.
