A Call to Battle - Jude 1-4 - Skip Heitzig

Standing for God’s truth is a serious thing, and yet it is part of our responsibility to do exactly that. Welcome to the only book in the New Testament devoted entirely to apostasy (the abandoning of the truth, the defecting from the faith). This short little letter (only twenty-five verses) is one of the most neglected yet important books in Scripture. As we begin our series Fight for the House, we will try to frame the battle by looking at who’s called to fight, what the battle is, whom we are fighting, and what weaponry we are using. Suit up, soldiers; it’s time to get into this battle!

I have been in the Salvation Army from the age of 5 til 9. And we learned exactly this: We Are The Army Of God, in mang songs and demonstrations. Most instructing and wonderful years of my juth. Thank you for a great message on Jude. I felt isolated standing for the faith having lost friends who profess to be followers of Christ but support the LGBTQ agenda. A foot note. For a time when a child I lived at Bethany Christian Homes back in the early sixties. Those employed displayed the most caring love of Christ for the children who came from impoverished and violent backgrounds. I wish I could say I was a blessing to have around then but I drove them nuts. Fast forward to the present, the seed they planted has taken root and I'm not only prepared to fight for the gospel but to die for it. I pray that Bethany will return to her faithful shepherd who promised to provide all we need.

This sermon is a complete copy of Chuck Missler's Jude 1-4. This man misinterpreted Jude 4 just as Chuck Missler did. Those who turn the grace of God into "lewdness" ( the KJV says..lasciviousness) are those who think God's grace cannot save that it just causes people to want a "license to sin." I'm sick of it.....
