The raised tail is a polite way of saying no thank you, because I'm pregnant. All pregnant camels raise their tails when approached. Its a sign that they're delicate - handle with care.

I don’t know if this is true but it could be that a larger throat sac meant that said camel was good at finding food and water in the desert, so offspring from such camels had a better chance of surviving to adulthood.

I enjoy seeing the camels in the 1999 movie the mummy.the camels are sweet,lovely creatures,of god.i also enjoyed the camels performance in the 1994 movie in the army now,the camel saved bones( played by pauly shore) from the terrorist.and bones adopted the sweet camel,the camel became the army's pet,in that movie.❤️🐫
