We were right behind you/side by side, as we turned off for the bridges and seen the camera set up in the front of the van 😀 small world 👍🏽
@JamesPotterAboutArt6 ай бұрын
That was a coincidence. Did you recognise the van?😊
@NapoleonDynamites6 ай бұрын
@JamesPotterAboutArt No, it was a mistaken identity. Actually, we used to own a van the exact same as yours. Even the number plate was similar. So I drove close to see was it the couple we sold it to. Then we seen the camera setup.

You do show Scotland off so well thank you. By the way Tyndrum is pronounced Tinedrum, (rhymes with nine), emphasis on the ‘Ty’. Scotland is full of wonderful names.

Hi, Scotland is a beautiful place and it’s a lot of fun trying to video it. Thanks for the pronunciation of Tyndrum, it’s complicated thing pronouncing Scottish words and places. I’m sure it won’t be the last time I get it wrong! Best wishes, James

Just back from spending 2 weeks on Iona sketching & painting and went to some of the music festival, what a lovely wee place, reminded me very much of our time spent living on Fair Isle in the shetlands. The Nunnery hooked me big time, love a bit of stonework in pen & ink.
@JamesPotterAboutArt6 ай бұрын
Hi Ann, That must’ve been great spending two weeks on Iona. It must’ve been great to have stayed for so long. We did walk past the nunnery a few times on our visit, really we were trying to get to North Beach as we had only a short time. Hope your paintings came out nicely Best wishes, James

Wonderful! We have done that trip a couple of times. I always thought of Mull as the island of rainbows as the weather was always mixed. Thank you for the trip which has evoked many happy memories. I look forward to the next video of Iona. Incidentally, one of my favourite islands off Mull is Ulva, which is now uninhabited. You can get across via a little ferry boat which can be summoned from the mainland by showing a red signal board. The ferryman sits outside the restaurant on Ulva, then comes across when he sees the red board. Ulva is a great place to walk around and see the White tailed eagles diving into the sea. ❤😊.

Another excellent video of your travels. Loved the drone clip, such beautiful green valleys with two small figures obviously working the drone! Looking forward to seeing the completion of your finished painting James, always the amazing use of colour which you do so well. I got a bit keyed up to be about to step on the ferry to Iona which we did in about 2001, but the filming ended! Never mind at least I know it is still coming. Enjoy your own stay on this special Island.
