I agreed with Bro Gbile with his illustrative logic regarding sins. But that is not what that scripture means. To get the correct interpretation of that scripture you have to understand that sinning is action coming from a nature of a sinner. We produce sins because we are sinners and to be a sinner is not because we sin, we sin because we are sinners. To be a sinner, you are born to be a sinner. Your nature is sinful. For instance, a dog is born to bark. Check that scripture again and you will notice that it says Christ has taken away our sins (that is talking of our sinful activities) and then said there is no sin (note, sin not sins) in Christ meaning the nature of sin is not in Christ. Therefore, being in Christ means (abiding) Christ has removed our sins by removing our sin (nature). nature of sin is the power that makes us commit sins. So we cannot enjoy or compel sin because the nature of sin has no more control over us. So, it is not that there is no more sin to sin, it is that the power that compels us to sin is no longer in our lives because we abide in Christ. Abiding in Christ is what the Holy Spirit does for us and IN US (keeping us in Christ). It is not what we do by ourselves. It is not an activity that we carry out or a step that we follow. It is yielding our hearts (minds) to the constant sanctifying power of the Word of God through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

What you are saying is 100% correct and it does not contradict what bro Gbile is saying, rather it is complementary. If you are a follower of bro Gbile, you know He teaches about our sinful nature that was crucified with Christ. Here, He is teaching that when ever we sin, we have some how departed from Christ, because the scripture is clear that who ever dwell in Him sinneth not.

You are not entirely correct. Christ has taken away the natural sin, but a believer can still commit sin of choice if he or she is careless. Saying that your no longer sin even when you indulge in sin is a costly assumption that leads a man away from God
