Really like using both sides of paper. I got best results when I used small rectangle of side 2 and tear on side one only. I glued small piece to card front then placed torn piece on top.. Tear seems more visible and I dont need longer piece.

The twine tip is wonderful as I don't really like the twine or ribbon on the back of my card. I don't have much double-sided paper but using two coordinating papers will work well. Lovely cards. I'm in the USA. I had the opportunity to visit NZ a few years ago and through a difficult illness with my husband, met and have a lifelong friend. Beautiful country!

Thanks Frances! It's far too bulky sometimes to have twine across the back! And make it go further anyway. :) Hope you can come back soon when things are more settled in the world xx

I love these, but I hardly ever put a bow on my cards because I'm afraid that the card will get ruined by the machines that mail goes through. How do you mail your cards with bows?
@StampHappyNZ
@StampHappyNZ 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I live in New Zealand, so possibly our machines aren't quite as damaging. :) However, I'd suggest to use ribbon that is very soft if you're concerned and/or use twine. You could also consider putting the card inside a cello envelope (item 102619) for extra protection. And at the end of the day, there are some cards with huge bows that just have to be hand delivered or included in a gift box. :)
@mariecrestanderbery8118

You can also put a thin piece of card board or a piece of card stock over the front of the card to help protect it in the mail.
