I feel sorry for those people, they must be miserable to be able to see this lovely lady creating gorgeous things from paper scraps and only respond with snark! I've gotten thumbs downs on my videos of an adorable baby goat, couldn't understand why anyone would hate that, until someone left a mean comment that I was evil for raising goats for meat... which I DON'T do! My goats are beloved pets and their only job is to eat weeds and help keep us fire safe. They are my "kids", and I ran outside in my pajamas a few months ago to chase away a mountain lion that attacked them, and I'll do it again! I'm happy to find this great video. I'm making tags to sell the fabric origami butterflies I make into hair jewelry and pins. I found bags of pretty scrap paper at a dollar store that are perfect for this. Planning on doing a craft show sale in late Summer, and I think the colorful tags will help them sell.

I've been sewing since I was ten years old, and I'll be 61 next month. I also used to work as a graphic artist at a printing company, and got to take home leftover paper that I liked. My craft room is ridiculously over-stocked with everything imaginable! I love making things. I'm so excited after seeing this. I feel like I just jumped down a new rabbit hole and discovered new ways I can use my stash of paper, fabric, buttons, trims, etc... even those gold leaf rub on fancy decals I got 20 years ago from a craft store that closed. I have some very cool antique buttons I bought at an estate sale in the 1970s. They came from a grandfather who was a NYC tailor from 1890s to 1930s, most are one of a kind and too cool to use on clothing. Some are military buttons, at least one from the Spanish/American war! I think I'm going to try these techniques to display them in tiny framed shadowboxes (which are also in my stash). After I die and there's an estate sale of all my "junk", I pray that some young crafty person comes along to buy it who sees it as the treasure it is, and their heart is filled with joy. I still remember when I found that big box of hundreds of antique buttons when I was 17 and I was told the price was five bucks. I couldn't give them my sawbuck fast enough! Thank you, Ingrid! Finding your channel has brought me joy too, I subscribed! Today is the 22nd anniversary of my mom's passing, the one who inspired my creativity from an early age. I like to imagine she's still watching me making joyful creative chaos!
