Hey Andy, another great video! Been meaning to ask you, The canals and rivers are rubbish in Leicester to fish, do you recommend any decent rivers or canals outside of Leicester #tightlines 🎣 👍🏼

Thank you, Chris. The Grand Union canal usually fishes well anywhere along its length. River wise, the Nene is normally good. See where the nearest stretches are to yourself, they may be worth a try? Tight lines 👍

Great video, I love fishing right at the margins always seems production for me. What unhooking mat do you have, looking for a new one to replace my old 20 year one that is far too bulky, also did it come with the sling.

@@destobin4425 I was stoned or pissed i cant remember lol , but yes way more fun on a lower test curve ,but you also have more hook pulls on a fast tip , great skills tho never really done carp fishing like that before , I only fish large lakes with large fish ,bluebells is my local complex , but to catch a fish right in like that in such a short time is great , I assume its heavily stocked

No problem. It's not heavily stocked actually, I prefer waters with a lower density of carp in them. If I can find a water of about 100 acres in size with between 30 - 70 carp in it, I'm in heaven. I do use rods of 3lb tc a d higher, but only when I have to cast in excess of 150 yards. Tight lines and good luck for your next trip out 👍

Me and my son love the place andy but some of the rules stop me from joining unfortunately. Just fish it on the odd day ticket really.
