It was a tough match, both teams had ups and downs, but I hope Eczacibasi can make it at Istanbul. Boskovic needs a little better support in attack, so I hope Voronkova gets to play next time.

Wolosz’s connection with Fahr is outstanding. To me, Folie and Fahr are the best italian middle blockers right now. I didn’t expect this result, to be honest, i thought Conegliano was gonna win 3-0 but they had a rough start. Ecza is a great team but they had just been beaten by Vakifbank some days ago and Vakifbank lost to Conegliano in quarterfinals, so. What i love about this beautiful sport that i’ve been playing for the last 13 years is that, it doesn’t matter if you have the best player in every position, if you don’t play like a team, it’s over. As much as i love Haak and Wolosz, i’d love to see an Ecza vs Milano final, otherwise, it would be just Italian’s league final and we know who’s gonna with that. Right? Milano and Imoco already have one foot into the finals but i’m sure Fenerbahce and Eczacibasi won’t give up so easily. What a wonderful time to be alive 😎 Congratulations to both teams for this sloppy but very entertaining game.

You say you've been playing volleyball for 13 years and you expected a 3-0 between these two teams? 13 years and you don't know anything? How are you going to expect a 3-0 between 2 of the best teams (for me the 2 best) that have the best player (Boskovic) and second best (Haak) in the world. Rethink your ideas a little about the sport itself, because the result can happen (a 3-0) but it is not something you expect to happen between 2 teams that are fighting for a place in the final and which have squads with that type of players. If you have only seen volleyball for a short time it is understandable but don't tell me that you have been knowing the sport for 13 years and go out and say those comments haha

a parte gli scherzi, quoto interamente la tua analisi della perfetta: qualche problemino di troppo in casa Conegliano, l'ho sempre scritto che bisognava spingere fin dall'inzio al massimo... Ecza un pelo sotto..., mah il risultato e la partita stessa parla da sè... Occhio solo che c'è il ritorno 🤞😀, ma anche io sono convinto che Conegliano deve e può ancora migliorare, l'Ecza secondo me ha dato quasi il massimo (assenza della J-K...) e non vedo molti margini di miglioramento se non il fattore, non trascurabile, di giocare in casa....

Boshkovic kendi standartlarının çok altında oynamasına rağmen oyun 2-3 bitti. İmoco zaten Vakıf maçında iyi durumda olmadıklarının sinyalini veriyordu. Tahmin ediyorum ki kendi evinizde oynarken bir de Boshkovic kendi standartlarında bir oyun oynarsa altın sete götürmeden adımızı finale yazdırırız. Isabelle Haak is probably the MOST COMPLETE PLAYER IN THE WORLD. Even Santarelli mentioned that Haak is very complete. From Attack, Blocks, Aces and exceptional floor defense.

@@hegomanyalol, Boskovic didn’t play well in a Fast Set game and Outside Hitter position, unlike Haak who is very lethal in a fast game and OH position as well. Santarelli stated that Boskovic “doesn't play fast” but attacks well. Boskovic is very good in OOS play, so does Haak. Haak is more excellent in Blocks, and Service aces than Boskovic. Club World Championship In 2022 and this game, she blocked Boskovic multiple times. Haak's spike height is higher than hers, and Haak's service is more consistent than Boskovic's.

Hahaha That’s why Vakifbank with Haak was so successful because they have a solid defense with Haak-Gabi-MBH-Aycac. Haak is a Swedish Beach Volley tournament champion. Lol Even in warm-up, Moki and Haak are players teamed up. Boskovic has a faster serve speed than Haak, but Haak’s serves are more consistent. La forza mentale di Conegliano è qualcosa di unico! A Istanbul sarà durissima e ci vorrà tutta un'altra Imoco, ma intanto ha rimontato e vinto una partita che, credo, la stragrande maggioranza delle persone davano per persa. Ho visto due volte dal vivo l'Eczacibasi, quest'anno, ed è una squadra a cui fai una fatica tremenda a far punto: hanno un gran libero e le altre sono proprio grosse, occupano spazio, e sanno ricevere davvero bene (Gray a parte). Non fanno tanti punti diretti con il muro, rispetto ad altre squadre di vertice, ma sporcano quasi tutto e, ripeto, hanno una ricezione impressionante. Se poi in attacco hai Tijana Boskovic, beh, si spiega come mai siano da anni al vertice europeo e mondiale. L'Imoco ha iniziato male, troppo moscia, e soltanto dopo un timeout memorabile di Santarelli, tutto psicologico, ha cominciato a giocare come sa. Per venirne a capo, questa volta ha dovuto veramente raschiare il fondo del barile. Sono comunque ottimista per il ritorno, perché le turche meglio di così non possono giocare (avrebbero vinto con chiunque altro ieri, chiunque...) mentre le Pantere vere non sono quelle dei primi due set. Giudizi sintetici: Haak mostruosa, Lanier svolta della partita, bene Fahr e De Gennaro, meno bene del solito Plummer e Wolosz (ebbene sì), male Robinson.

Concordo con il giudizio sulle partite viste a Firenze. Ottima difesa e ricezione e poi palla in cassaforte a Boskovic. Per quanto riguarda il muro mi era piaciuta più di altre Jack Kisal, ieri assente, sempre ben posizionata. Leggo che l'infortunio non è da sottovalutare, si parla di stiramento ai legamenti. Eh, stessa cosa che ho sempre scritto e pensavo io... però se ci riflettiamo la storia è questa adesso: da quanto visto, Imoco ora deve stare attenta, ma moooolto attenta ed il Fener è abbastanza incerottato (neppure Ana Cris la vedo quella di un tempo, Erdem recupererà?). Morale: i nostri pronostici sono un po' incrinati, al momento😁

They did but they won 2 sets straight while everyone was expecting them to lose 3-0. Ferhat Akbaş giving good tactics on time outs but never uses the right player at the right moment. :) Or maybe we are wrong- I mean he wanted to use Naz but she performed badly- Voronkova worked a little and then lost momentum (that's what she does usually). He can never take Hande Baladın out- she was again incredible on defence and helped as much as she could to Boskovic. To me the biggest problem was the difference between middles: Setter-middle connection of Imoco is best among all teams right now- Eczacıbaşı lost this as Snead Jack is injured. Stevanovic can serve good but she is super weak on timing and attack and Beyza is meh (she is 3rd or 4th middle of Turkish national team). They were slow on blocks-Boskovic also could focus on blocks more like Haak did. That could make a difference. Honestly I did not watch Imoco-Vakıf but I have to tell that Imoco was not really good also. All American players of the team performs poorly and I believe if Eczacıbaşı could block Plummer- Kelsey and Lenier more (instead of they send the ball out) after that they would not come back each time and lose it psychologically too. Except Haak and middles- I do not believe Imoco is any good on attack. They do not have alternatives. Haak must perform fully in İstanbul again. She had 37 points- they tells a lot of things. If Eczacı focuses on blocks and use spikers more effectively- they won't have hard times winning against this Imoco.

Voronkova is underutilized. Gray had a 22% successful spike rate, while Voronkova had a 50% success rate. The coach consistently makes poor decisions. Plummer was struggling, but Santarelli gave her a rest, and she returned performing better. However, Ferhat did the opposite; Grey was doing okay, then she started to struggle, but the coach never allowed Voronkova to shine like in the Scandicci game. By the way, the spiker performances for this game are really unusual: Katryn Plummer: 47% spike success rate, 45% reception success rate Kelsey Robinson: 22% spike success rate, 50% reception success rate Khalia Lanier: 56% spike success rate, 35% reception success rate Hande Baladin: 43% spike success rate, 49% reception success rate Alexa Gray: 22% spike success rate, 49% reception success rate Irina Voronkova: 50% spike success rate, 38% reception success rate

Eczacı deserved the victory. They were leading 2-0, and in the 4th set they were 5 points ahead. But in the forth set, when everything was going superb, coach Ferhat Akbaş replaced Elif with Naz. You don’t fix something that is not broken. With Naz, Eczacı lost a lot of points and Conegliano got ahead. Our beloved Ferhat took Elif back only in the 23rd point. Eczacı was 19, Conegliano 23. Even at that point Eczacı managed to get 3 points straight and that set finished 25-22. That was the turning point of the game. Eczacı could have easily won 3-1, if Ferhat hadn’t replaced Elif with Naz or had taken Elif back earlier. So sorry that Eczacı’s efforts were in vain because Conegliano didn’t play well, but they managed to get away with it thanks to Ferhat Akbaş.

Excuses... They lost three sets in a row, even the one they were leading. It is nover the result of a single player. This is not footblall, were a single mistake by one player can lead to a goal and decide the match.

@@regulus6936 Not excuses, “reasons” of this defeat. Coach’s decisions are very important when things go south. Replacements, challanges, time-outs, etc. If Eczacı had Santarelli or Gui, they could have won 3-1. And if Imoco didn’t have Santarelli, they couldn’t win 3 sets in a row after 2-0. Santa did crucial replacements.

inmoco tiene mejores centrales, eso hace la diferencia, y otro punto es que eczacibasi solo tiene un grande boskovic, es mas completo inmoco, aunque en los dos primeros sets estaban desconcentrados ya el tercero se vio la diferencia con 10 puntos, eso sin fue un gran partido muy entretenido, tenemos la suerte de estar viendo a los mejores jugadores de esta era.

que sucede con los tecnicos de los equipos turcos. Gran responsabilidad de sus derrotas fueron por ellos. Lo fue con Lavarini y ahora con Ferhat. Ecza jugó los dos primeros sets bien, no tan bien el segundo ya que conegliano empató el marcador cuando habían sacada una amplia diferencia. Todo hasta el momento era arcoiris. Y el tercer set ok no pudieron mantener el ritmo y difícilmente ganarían 3-0 contra el mejor equipo del mundo. Ya se veia que algunas piezas no estaban funcionando bien (Gray y Stevanovic) y Voronkova entró metiendo casi todas las bolas que recibio. Ya para el cuarto set la verdad que el entrenador perdio la cabeza con la entrada de naz y de no haber cambiado a gray cuando claramente no era la misma en los dos primeros sets y era el momento del ingreso de voronkova. Lamentablemente Stevanavic no esta en buen nivel y desperdiciaron varias bolas con ella. Y ese ultimo error simplifica todas los bolas que regalaron a imoco cuando podían armar de nuevo la jugada. Esa derrota de ecza tiene mayor impacto que de fener porque tuvieron muchas pero muchas oportunidades para ganar. Y veo más accesible que fener pase a la final que ecza

Conegliano never dies but Eczacibasi threw away a huge opportunity. They could've won 3-1, the setter could've used Boskovic more. Santarelli made the difference (but I don't like how he always yells at the referees - even if he's right, sometimes): during time outs he pushed and motivated the players and he made suggestion to where and how to attack. Santarelli used all his bench players very well. If Conegliano doesn't win the Champions League this year, with its roaster, I don't know who else can.

Francamente, visti i primi due set, ho creduto che Conegliano perdesse, prima o poi deve capitare. Il ritorno in Turchia sarà durissimo, pronostico incerto. Ricordiamo che Igor Volley Novara vinse lo scorso anno con Eczacibasi (più forte allora di oggi) giocando molto meglio di Imoco Volley: io ero presente al Pala Igor.

Vero ma spero che Conegliano non giochi così male come ha fatto oggi. Sono certo che in un campionato Conegliano arriva dieci volte su dieci prima dello Eczacibasi ma in una partita secca tutto può succedere. Come lo scorso anno ad esempio in cui la Imoco incontro' il Fenerbahce in un momento critico per la squadra.
