I predicted that Imoco would come back very hard after the first match. Daniele's face was sullen at the end of the first match because he was not happy with his team's play and there is such a thing as Daniele Santarelli's ambition and coaching. Boskovich is a great player, but today the name of the attack is Haak! One of the best centre backs in the world with Kelsey Robinson. Degenaro is a legend and a sure passer. The pass is very well articulated and the serve is very well constructed and deadly. The 2 best are in the final!

I am a fan of Italian sports, the Italian volleyball league and especially the Italian soccer league Serie A, they are very detailed when it comes to strategy - they value attack, defense, scoring & blocking as very important arts in the game Today I am happy that CEV CL will have an all Italian final: wolosz v orro fahr, robin v hayrman, ritke, follie moci v castilo cook, plamer v cazaute, sylla and , bella v egonu it would be a dream match, even though they often meet in the league but the CEV CL final is another story... whoever is the champion I will support this exciting match... It was no mystery that Conegliano would win easily. The single biggest mystery is why Boskovic has been playing for nine years on a team that loses with embarrassing frequency and consistency. The only tournament that Eczacibasi managed to win was a small tournament against VB, which is improperly called the world championship.

Vakıfbank offered 2.5 million euros, but it didn't go. The players didn't show up for the foundation last year. Vakıfbank could not build a good team. Tijana, in my opinion, is experiencing the result of her choices. If it had been in Vakıfbank, the final would have been guaranteed. Because there is a lot of fb disability. Boskovic has been playing with Ecz for 8 year, I think they became a family to her already. No amount of money can buy what you’ve been through for 8yrs.I think not only the coach is the problem. They need to recruit an OHs good both in offense and defense. How can you win with Hande, Voronkova and Gray? I’ve been watching themin their games but they are NO match with the other OHs in Fener, Vakif, Milan, Imoco and Scandicci.

Let's start with a premise: Conegliano is stronger than Eczacibasi. Then, I think that the key of this series was the first match: the defeat after leading 2-0 did not leave the Turkish team with the feeling of being able to compete against Imoco, but rather, it almost emptied them. Otherwise, that first 2 sets in Treviso really woke up Conegliano. Yesterday match was totally dominated by Santarelli and his girls, both mentally and on the pitch. I don't have any more words for Isabelle Haak, devastating, but everyone of her teammates played great too. For Eczacibasi only Baladin fought till the end, even if with many errors. Boskovic scored a lot of points, but yesterday, imho, her body language told that she didn't believe in the win. My best greetings for Imoco and these extraordinary players and coach! An all Italian final in Istanbul is a great sign of the strength of our female volley and is also a revenge for the last year.

Frankly, I don't think it is a humiliation. There was a too big difference between the two teams, Conegliano is much stronger and the final outcome was never in discussion. Eczasibasi did better than expected by winning two sets in the first match.

Ecza and Vakif are at the same level, that is, below Imoco. The most dangerous Turkish team for the Panthers was Fener (see last year's quarterfinals).

Aggiorno: 2008-2009 Pieralisi Jesi - Challenge Cup Igor Novara - CEV Cup Foppapdretti Bergamo - Champions League E ci sono state altre volte in cui le squadre italiane hanno conquistato tutti i tre trofei. 2004-05; 2005-06...e poi mi sono stancato di studiare 😂😂

This year club teams from Italy did a sort of Grand Slam in female volleyball, in fact they won all 3 main European competitions : Novara won the Challenge cup, Chieri the Cev cup and obviously one of Milano and Imoco the CL. Not an expert of volleyball, but I don' t remember that such a thing ever happened, at least in recent times

Ecz and Milano both are in the same boat. Both have great individual players but they haven’t learned playing together as a team yet. Individualistic is the quickest way to self-destruction. Until then Conegliano will be unbeatable.

Last season, when Fener eliminated them in QFs, they lost to one player(Vargas) only, not the team. They couldn't stop her. They played as a whole and it didin't help. So 'playing as a team' doesn't ALWAYS work or make you unbeatable. I disagree with the cliche, some players are just stronger than a team. Conegliano should be glad that Vargas is out now, thanks to Milano. Not a Fener fan, just stating a fact.

They might be shocked and overwhelmed by Vargas' first time appearance but I don't think it would happen if they meet again. Besides if Vargas is that good, she should be in the final. Then Boskovic and Egonu needs to be on Haak’s level of 1) Consistency: Produced big points but less errors on attacks and services 2) Completeness: excellent Floor defense, and strong blocks while performing very well/consistent in Attacking department 3) Who brings joy inside the court (Santarelli described Haak as the one who always smile and brings shine in the court among Egonu, Boskovic, and Vargas).

@@elijahsamosino5868 each player is different on court. 1) Haak is still sub-par and her making 23 points every other match isn’t the consistency you think it is. Especially when she is with the best setter. 2) she’s so great and Sweden can’t get to a major tournament. She’s so complete right? 3) Egonu is dead silent when she’s playing at her best and totally serious. Tijana is always whispering and encouraging when she’s at her best. Not everyone is going to be all smiles and rainbows. Especially when they’re overworked.
