Lily - I am probably one of your oldest subs (72), and thought this video was wonderful! It gives be so much insight into the way things are different these days with motherhood and helps me understand some of the challenges that couples who both have careers face. You are both so fortunate in being able to participate in Grey's upbringing like this. it's a I wonderful thing, and I wish it was available to more families - it an only be an asset to you all. I appreciate your blunt honesty SOOOO much! Especially when it comes to motherhood. Keep creating content that is authentic to you. Parenthood, work/life balance, Mom guilt, these are all things your viewers are going through as well. And it´s always a sigh of relief to me, when I see everyone has their struggle, and that I am not alone. I struggle with mom guilt. HARD. But nobody shames me, I put it on myself. It really weighs me down at times, I can´t help it. I´m an ER physician and love my job. My husband is wonderful and supportive and my son absolutely loves daycare. But still I worry someone someday may comment on the fact, that I should be there more for my child. I feel selfish at times, that I love to work, and that I would go mad being at home full time. But my family is healthy and happy. That´s most important to me. But I have to relieve some pressure on myself. Your videos help me with that :) Thank you from Germany

Mediocre people tell themselves that just because they had a baby they have to be fat ugly slobs. Let’s not spread lies and tell people that it’s ok to be fat. Stop eating and maybe you’ll loose the weight and the belly. You had a baby, you’re not sick nor handicapped.

After my second csection, I never regained feeling in my lower stomach. It is weird. My true feeling is: you are not same person as you were before. You are in a new chapter of your life. Buy some jeans that fit now. It will make you feel beautiful. Also, remember your daughter listens and watches...and you are the most beautiful woman she knows. Be very kind to yourself. One thing I found massively helped my mental heath and self esteem was to invest in one or two pairs of jeans that fit and that I felt like myself in. The maternity jeans were a constant reminder that I wasn’t the shape I was before. Suddenly wearing real jeans again and feeling good was such a boost! Same with bras. When I threw out my maternity bras after failed attempts at nursing and went and got new bras that fit I was like a new person! Definitely recommend getting a couple of things 😊

So glad you’re back, Lily!!! On the subject of blogs, I think Louise Pentland does such a good job of balancing having her babies occasionally in vlogs for “mummy days” and more work vlogs... Also, I think it would be so cool if you vlogged clips of figuring out how to get back into work for the first month and then edit them together. Like the ones you and Anna have done about the process of writing a book! Then it wouldn’t be focused on Grey, it’d be a solid amount of content, and I think it’d be really interesting going along on that journey with you. Especially since you and Anna have that new project coming up in fall!

In Hungary fathers get 5 day paternity leave for one baby and 7 day in case of twins, 9 in csse of triplets... Ridiculous!! My twin girls were 7 months old and I was still 11 kg heavier. I felt so down. And I gained all this weight while nursing them. So I went on ketogen diet and it was the best decision. I lost 12,5 kg in 2 months, I never felt hungry I felt full of energy. Although my milk dried up but I had to do it for my mental health and I feel no shame. Fed is best! I'm so happy you are back and I love your content.
