Great haul and fun video as always. I really cannot see a Man-Thing comic now without thinking of your channel. Speaking of, I just picked up the 1st Hellcow this week in Giant-Size Man-Thing #5 for only $3! Now I want a Hellcow plushie! Also, I wanted to pass this recent Man-Thing related discovery on. With your love of sympathetic shambling muck monsters, you really must one day read the fantastic HEAP stories in the 70's B&W horror mag PSYCHO (Issues #2-7). THE HEAP was ofcourse a Golden Age character first, but it was beautifully reimagined by writer Charles McNaughton and artist Ross Andru in PSYCHO #2 in March of 1971. And given that Man-Thing first appeared on the scene in Savage Tales #1 in May of 1971, followed by Swamp Thing in HOS #92 in July of 1971, I am now utterly convinced that both creative teams at Marvel and DC must have read PSYCHO #2 with the then brand newly resurrected THE HEAP painted on the cover. The original Golden Age HEAP was a WWII German pilot who crashed his plane into a swamp after a dogfight, where his fiery corpse melded with the rot and vegitation and transmogrified him into a shambling pile of thinking muck, doomed to roam the world apart from humanity. The 70's version changed him into a crop-dusting pilot who was betrayed by his wife when she sabotaged his plane, causing him to crash into a tank of experimental gas on a remote army research base. Anyways, they are great stories, and this is all worth mentioning to a fellow muck monster fan. Sharing is caring. With that said, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite facilitators of KZbin comic book commradery, as you are skilled at warmly and enthusiastically bringing together many different channels, creators, and viewers to a shared party that keeps getting better the more people who arrive. Long live Mon Comics. #Fam

That Alien/Predator: Deadliest of the Species series is bonkers. My tinfoil hat theory on its creation... Chris Claremont had an idea for a cyberpunk/Blade Runner-esque story he had sitting in his desk drawer. Dark Horse approached him to write an AvP story, he accepted, he then dusted off that concept from his desk drawer and found a way to work in Alien and Predator in the loosest way possible. It's the most "science fiction" Alien/Predator story out there for sure and that makes it pretty unique from the pack. Good luck collecting the run, its super easy to find and the covers are stellar. That's a super generous giveaway, I subscribed to Lettuce's channel! When you kept on adding to the winnings, I half expected you to say "Now look under your seat for..." 🤣
