I demand that they bring back the Darkness games! Those are the perfect A-tier license games, that we're not getting now days.. Just like the Wolverine Origins game ^^

Thanks Maddogg for this very-GOOD-video on Image Comics. It put a very-BIG-smile on my face today,I never get tired of the history of-IMAGE-ever. Those guys made comics history, they could've stayed at Marvel and had good careers/money,but,instead of complaining about the big 2 comic companies they chose to start their own comic company. I SALUTE them. I also wish you'd do a video on the formation of-MILESTONE-MEDIA comics, they also did something historic and not much is known of their contributions to the comic's medium.

I always found early Image so fascinating, especially as of recently with the Invincible cartoon reaching the Invincible War soon where in the comic other characters crossed over (there's also a depressing uncertainty in the fact that it's unlikely they'll get the rights).

Love the AKIRA poster Jim Lee’s office. I have one as well. I wish I had framed it lol. Now it has tack holes in all the corners. I didn’t care when I was younger.

His wife has 4 kids from her previous marriage, he has 3 from his, they only have 2 “in common” but he’s the legal father of all them.

Finally gotten around to watching the complete video and I must say it had a lot of energy and the structure was perfect. I learnt quite a bit about each founder I never knew before(seriously when does Jim lee find the time for 9 kids.😂) and never knew Liefield was such a controversial guy. Woof woof.

I was in the age demographic that 1992 Image was after all the stories and advertisement of Image had to be expensive itself, but after '95 most comickids I knew sadly came to the reality Image essentially failed. Around 98ish I couldn't find any original Image comicbook series around anymore

I really liked some of those early image books that other great artists put out. Maxx by Sam Keith. Pitt by Dale Keown. Mark Texteria did some stuff. Jae Lee. It’s a shame majority aren’t worth much. lol.

The legend is that sales royalties for Spider-Man #1 made McFarlane a millionaire so why did he quit the book and eventually leave Marvel? He has told the story of how editorial interference on the Spidey book bothered him. What he hasn't repeated too often is how someone at Marvel showed him a toy that was made of a character he may have Co- created and told him he wouldn't get anything for it!

So, basically, he wanted MORE MONEY

That, yes, but the main thing is he didn't appreciate the way the person arrogantly rubbed it in his face! It reminded him of how his dad was treated by his job. You notice how he has never worked with Marvel ever since? DC, yes, but not Marvel.

Maddog, you have put me in a very awkward position. I am blown away by the quality of your content, your self deprecating humor and your obvious heart felt passion for my Superior Gen X interests, which is where the problem presents itself...You are obviously a member of the enemy camp, the forsakers of rock for hip hop, a cultural cancer known as Gen Z. Maddog is there any way I can convince you to cast out the sins of your generation by publicly renouncing them while simultaneously bending the knee, Game of Thrones style, to Gen X? In exchange I promise to not only absolve you of your crimes of association, but I will provide you with a Goodwill Pass to sit in perpetuity at the Designated Cool Kids Table. Are you willing to do this in the name of the greater good? As a good will gesture, I will like and subscribe 😉

@@georgehoustonofficial but Todd micromanages everything and tries to to emulate Stan Lee, Todd also steals from the Blackman which is why he got sued among other reasons. Jim is a company man.
