As crazy as it sounds we find ourselves more excited looking at local plants and trees while on vacation more so than visiting tourist attractions.

I love the Japanese aesthetic but man it was hot in August! Thank you for the new term “cloud pruning” Stacy! Rick you just re-ignighted our plans to go to Costa Rico. Oh gosh, I bet it was really hot in August! Costa Rica is so rich in its natural landscapes, it is definitely worth a visit 😄 There's so much to explore in Australia, luckily we didn't come across any dangerous critters down there 🤗😁

Ahhh, plátanos are my favorite breakfast and lunch entree!! Great show guys, so much of Costa Rica reminds me of their neighbor to the south...my father's homeland, Panamá ❤

Thank you for sharing your vacations with us! The only time I've been outside the U.S. was when I lived in Germany back in the early 80s (military), but I had other interests than plants. Maybe in the next couple years things will be different. Love the show! Thanks again.

We have a very large, thus most likely, older, ginkgo tree on Main Street here in Jonesborough, Tennessee. It’s a female and produces fruit every few years, and you’re right, Stacey, it smells exactly like throw up!!! On years that it blooms, I walk on the other side of the street! 😄

Stacey, you are going to have to go to Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town South Africa if you like Protea. The species of Fynbos (translated from Afrikaans as “Fine Bush”) is incredible!
