So here's my Theory (and others share the same one too) The Waitress is the guy's Girlfriend The Gangster was the Girlfriend's Dad The reason why he was chasing after the guy and trying to shoot him was because he (the dad) probably didn't approve of their relationship at first. But eventually decided to accept it, since there's a picture of everyone together. As for the pug, who doesn't love a funny animal sidekick? Also, the creators of this short obviously took notes from Sony Animation's "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse" and "The Mitchell's vs. the Machines". Saw and loved both films by the way.

This seems like a pretty cool short. The whole aesthetic gives me Spider-Verse vibes, don't know why. Bonus points for its proper use of cliches (hence the title of this short). And one other thing... is it just me, or does the dog look like the pug from the Mitchells vs. the Machines?

The story and aesthetic was very pleasing were very cool, and the visuals gave strong incredibles/spiderverse vibes. I do feel the animation was a bit stiff at times, especially with the facial expressions, but other than that this was very, very good! Keep it up!
