A Challenging Solo Adventure | Ratcatcher Review

I backed Platypus's second game, Drop Bears, at $1, just so I could get the reprint of Ratcatcher in the pledge manager. I have heard good things, and your review helps solidify it for me. Excited to try it!

We will keep that in mind! I (Doolin) am hoping to get a bird’s eye view set up in my game room soon, so playthoughs will hopefully happen more often :)

I dont have this one, nor have I tried it, but it seems really fun. The vibe of solo games makes or breaks it for me. How much and how quickly can I become absorbed into the world? Thats why I am such a fan of escape the dark castle. Glad to have some more insight into the game :)

I'd love to see gameplay of this if you're able to make that happen. The game really appealed to me on aesthetic, theme and gameplay, but the rulebook really drove me crazy when I tried to play - poorly formatted and so many situations popped up that weren't covered in the slightest by the rulebook. Since the gameplay loop is pretty small, those such minor rule interpretation differences can make it really easy to win or impossible depending on what you decide

I believe you can get the reprint with updated rulebook in the pledge manager for Drop Bears.
