Blues come naturally to her.....that's the way it should be. Someday she'll have to visit Memphis or New Orleans and sing with the best blues musicians in the world. My favorite singer is Eva Cassidy who sang many genre including blues, jazz and folk. Her last album was called "Live at Blues Alley" done in Georgetown (Washington D.C.) 1996. If you want to really appreciate how it's done, you can start right there. This could be Mia's best genre. Even though still a "youngster", she has the ability with her voice to do things other singers simply can't do. Being a "busker" is fine but there comes a point where you have to sing on your own terms regardless of whether you are busking or not. I would love to see Mia sing with the best musicians in the right environment. Eva often played her own music but also played with the best musicians and with the best equipment in the absolute best environment. So, what's next?
