Fascinating Rabbi! I never knew the story "behind the story"! That the Greeks wanted us to "just" assimilate. Just believe the Torah is wise, yet manmade. Wow! This is a huge inspirational story. Thank you!

Why caption keep spelling "G_d"? He IS talking about God. Jews celebrate a THING ~ the event that happened. Christians celebrate Jesus Himself. This is what God wants. Attention to Him. Not to what He did. Chanukah celebrates those who died. Christianity celebrates someone who came back to life. Chanukah celebrates WITH lights. Christmas celebrates the One who brought Light.
