Totoo yan Lora, basta wag lang hampasin, batuhin o saktan ang hayop, ayos lang na habulin ang mga ibon na parang nakipaglalaro. As long as it's not a threat to either human and animal , I think it's alright to be playful.

You are right every person perspective isn’t agreeable for the majority. But obviously that senior lady is having a bad day not to see that your child is just being a child enjoying a beautiful creation from God. ❤

From a game Warden or park ranger perspective: imagine the thousands of visitors to your park/preserve taking turns chasing birds all day every day. They would be so chronically stressed that they would basically never relax enough to find time to eat. A quiet park in town is a totally different story. The birds fly or run off to safety where they can chill out and go about their day. I think it's important to be aware of and respectful to the different contexts and to act accordingly to learn about animals in a way that helps keep them around for future generations, but also to have a little harmless fun once in a while.

Thanks for sharing that perspective! I agree. ❤️

"Karen" must be her name! It's great that you guys are able to monetize your channel. YT is not as reliable in getting people paid.

I wouldn't have allowed her to say that to my own kid. She was annoying & hateful. Believe me, adults cannot outrun a roadrunner, let alone a small child. People just need to chill sometimes. There's a lot of bigger things to worry about ..

Back in the early 60’s when as kids wanted fried chicken my grandma would tell us to catch chickens in her huge backyard. We did.. with our slingshots. It was fun!

Kids are being kids besides as a mother youre sure that your daughter would not hurt an animal of course youre right, that lady should have first observed how your daughter was interacting with the animal

Nice work mommy.. :) You got all different opinion and perspective but yeah her name might be "Karen". I got this quote from my mom, say all you want but don't teach me how I teach my kids. Besides, we all human are animals that needs to interact with them too and nature or here in PH, getting in the street or nature is the best way to learn to communicate and understand how we behave with our surroundings. Missed you guys

no big deal with kids having fun with animals, maybe her saying a warden just foes to shows her life was full of silly, serious moments and that she was always on her toes that anything bad things might happen, never mind, smile and be happy. you are doing just fine.

It so happened that the old lady had more knowledge about the bird and quite serious and intimidating about wildlife when telling people instead of just trying to be nice if the old lady want to educate other people.

Game wardens patrol assigned areas to ensure people follow laws for hunting, fishing, and boating. There is no way any kid can even get close to a roadrunner. Someone from somewhere else who doesn't know about local wildlife. You should have told her she isn't a warden anymore.

Interacting with non-deadly creatures or animals without hurting them is just fine. We chase our pet dogs and it's perfectly okay. It's a different issue if you are pushing your kids to chase or run after a cobra or alligator 😅

I used to be a subscriber but not anymore, upset maybe that you return to the states but I can't blame you if your not used to a filipino simple life. Anyway God bless.

We absolutely loved our time in the Philippines and hope to go back. We really did enjoy the simple life but this was the best decision for our family right now. We are grateful we had the chance to give birth here in the US and we don't take that opportunity for granted. We understand if our content (life) is not appealing to you. Thanks for your comment though!

That’s disgustingly rude. Any responsible “elder” would explain calmly to a child and not be sharp. It’s not their child.

@OurHalfAsianAdventureАй бұрын
Hi. Thanks for your questions. We love homeschooling and plan to homeschool throughout the high school years as well. We're willing to adjust if the kids need it though. Yep, the kids love sports and hanging out with lots of friends. Esme loves gymnastics and Eli goes to pokemon tournaments and plans to do soccer in the spring. They both did a running club this summer and loved it. They're very involved in the community and church activities.

I think your kids are just being kids, but those birds might be exhausted, so in general I don’t think it’s a good idea to run after birds. So sit back and observe, but leave them alone.
@mariedayrit24342 ай бұрын
I know your kid not harming the birds, but some kids though are nuisance to birds...if kids only treat birds nicely meaning not scare them....the non stop running after them is so irritating to watch...What i especially dont like also is when kids bothering birds when their eating...just my honest opinion
